On October 3, 2022, the Supreme Court announced that it would hear two cases that could fundamentally change the future of the modern internet. Gonzalez v. Google and Twitter, Inc. v. Taamneh involve both the Anti-Terrorism Act and Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act— which shields tech platforms from lawsuits for hosting and moderating user content. Section 230 is one of the most important laws in tech policy, and this will be the first time the Supreme Court has interpreted its scope.

Repeated comments by jury foreman Emily Kohrs about the grand jury have drawn a furious blast by former President Donald Trump, and predictions her unusual statements could harm looming indictments. Information should be weighted. It should be given carefully to you for a pragmatic purpose. It should never be just force fed to you in a constant feedback loop.
Any source that is doing that to you likely has two things in common:
An express need for your blind loyalty,
and a desire to control your opinion.

Weinstein, 70, will serve the jail term after completing his 23-year-sentence for a sexual misconduct conviction in New York in 2020.
It is therefore highly possible he will spend the rest of his life in prison.
Weinstein begged for leniency as he was handed the latest sentence in a LA court today.
Was sentenced for the rape of an actress, named only in court as Jane Doe 1, at a hotel in Los Angeles in 2013.
A jury found him guilty in December of rape, forcible oral copulation and sexual penetration by a foreign object.
Weinstein said: "This is a made up story. Jane Doe 1 is an actress. She can turn the tears on.
