In the 1930's Royal Rife's Frequency Instrument was able to cure not only cancer, but prostatitis, bladder infections, lupus, trench mouth, pyorrhea, staphylococcus and every other infection or disease in which it was used. Rife cured, he didn't "treat".

A doctor's letter to another M.D. in 1934 described how he used the Frequency Instrument to cure his own case of prostatitis "quickly" after five types of big pharma drugs had failed. Another patient was referred to him who's carcinoma was described as an "impossible condition" but was cured in weeks.
