Fake big brand accs. w/ blue check since new roll-out, incl. Tesla and SpaceX, Roblox, Nestle, Lockheed Martin, Eli Lilly.

Eli Lilly fell 4.5% after a user tweeted from a verified account w/ Lilly profile: 'We are excited to announce insulin is now free.'

Lockheed Martin fell 5.5 % after a verified account looking like the firm tweeted: 'We will begin halting all weapons sales to Saudi, Israel and & USA until further investigation into their record of human rights abuses. Capitalization decreased by more than $7 bn.

U.S. Catholic bishops begin their fall meeting Monday and will be electing new leaders — a vote that may signal whether they want to be more closely aligned with Pope Francis ′ agenda or not.

Several of the 10 candidates to be the next president of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops are part of its powerful conservative wing, and have not fully embraced some of the pope’s priorities, such as focusing more on the marginalized than on culture-war battles.

The USCCB also will be marking the 20th anniversary of its adoption of policies designed to root out sexual abuse and abusers in the priesthood — measures adopted amid the white-hot scandals of 2002 when The Boston Globe exposed widespread abuse and cover-up.

Documents filed at bankruptcy court in Delaware on Monday night as it emerged flailing Bankman-Fried allegedly spent the weekend desperately trying to secure cash from investors to pay off victims of the crisis.

Bankruptcy proceedings make it more likely investors will lose most, if not all, of their funds, SBF and members of his inner circle pleaded with investors for help plugging the $8 billion shortfall.

Donald Trump defeated his niece Mary Trump in a lawsuit where she accused the former U.S. president and two of his siblings of defrauding her out of a multimillion-dollar inheritance.

In a decision on Monday, Justice Robert Reed of a New York state court in Manhattan said Mary Trump released her claims against her relatives in a 2001 settlement over the estate of Donald Trump's father Fred Trump Sr.
Now a 57-year-old psychologist, Mary Trump claimed that her uncles Donald and Robert Trump and aunt Maryanne Trump Barry were supposed to protect her interests but instead "squeezed" her out of tens of millions of dollars.
