Solar farms are another sham. Neither they are green nor cheap and most importantly, they are not dependable. However, they are so virtuous these days that every tom, dick and harry pledge for solar technology.

From sourcing the raw materials for solar panels to its production, it relies heavily on traditional technologies. It requires huge land. Its life span is not more than 15-20 years. Its production is intermittent. It is way costlier to maintain than what it produces.

Going for solar is good for imperialists as it's a new toy in their hands to lure money out of poorer countries.
