💡The admin has a theory... That everything is moving towards a point where traditional paper money (fiat currency in general) and bureaucracy will disappear, and all financial systems will be built on blockchain technology. This is transparent. It's fast. It's logical.

Zero Edge crypto casino: How a Wall Street OG rugged $3.7M of investor funds

🕷Richard Kim, a former suit at Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan, and Galaxy Digital, shilled his crypto casino, Zero Edge, promising a "revolution in fairness and transparency." However, instead of shipping the product, he yolo'd investor funds, degending into gambling and risky crypto trades to the tune of over $3.7M.

‼️Apparently, an $80k phishing attack "triggered his inner demons," and he tried to "ape back in" to make up for it, which led to even bigger losses (Ls). Zero Edge never launched.

⏬Kim pulled the plug on July 2nd and self-reported to the SEC. He stated his intention to make investors whole and continue building despite the board's decision to shut it down.

Nike is being sued for shutting down RTFKT

⚡️ NFT buyers of RTFKT (pronounced "Artifact") have filed a class-action lawsuit against Nike in New York. They are seeking over $5 million in compensation, claiming that the project's closure devalued their digital assets.

💤 Nike acquired RTFKT in 2021 for $33–40 million. At the peak of the NFT market, collections such as CloneX were selling for prices up to $80,000. In December 2024, the company announced the complete shutdown of the project.

‼️ The plaintiffs state that they would not have purchased the tokens if they had known about the risks. They accuse Nike of violating consumer protection laws in New York, California, Florida, and Oregon.

Abuse on deck:

⚡️ Elon Musk announced the launch of a new political movement called the “America Party”. Here’s what we know so far:

⚪️On July 5, Musk posted on X: “The "America Party" has been created to give you your freedom back.”
⚪️Just a day earlier, on July 4, Elon ran a poll among his X followers: 65-80% voted in favor of forming a third party.
In the U.S., the game is usually two-sided - Democrats vs. Republicans. Elon wants to deploy a third chain into the mix.
⚪️The new party will also keep a strong focus on crypto — fiat, in Musk’s view, is outdated tech. He’s clearly betting on decentralization and digital assets as a pillar of the future economy.
