🐶 Ray Dalio, founder of Bridgewater, said at the FutureChina forum in Singapore that America’s record budget deficit and debt are crushing the dollar’s strength.

⚡️ With $7T in spending and only $5T in revenue, the U.S. will need to dump nearly $12T worth of bonds - but global markets aren’t ready for that kind of supply. Dalio warns this could wreck the balance and shake the whole monetary system.

🚀 Against this backdrop, investors are flocking to gold and crypto. “Non-fiat assets are becoming the new way to store capital,” Dalio stressed.

Hypervault just rugged

👻 DeFi protocol Hypervault (on Hyperliquid) pulled the plug and disappeared with $3.6M. According to PeckShield, funds were bridged to Ethereum, swapped to ETH, and partially laundered via Tornado Cash (~752 ETH).

🚫 Their X account is gone, the website is offline — looks like a textbook exit scam. This despite Hypervault pitching “smart strategies,” auto-yield vaults, and bots on HyperEVM.

The Big Chinese Heist

🔩 A 47-year-old woman, Zhijinqian Qian, pled guilty in London after UK police seized 61,000 BTC back in 2018 (worth over $6.7B today).

💙 Investigators say that from 2014 to 2017 she ran a massive scam in China, ripping off more than 128,000 people — from retirees to bankers. The stolen cash got funneled into Bitcoin, hidden through offshore shells, and later laundered in the UK — including luxury real estate buys.

‼️ Now she’s waiting for her sentence. The big question: will those 61k BTC go back to victims or straight into the hands of the UK government?

Hyperliquid Prepares an Upgrade

⭐️ DEX Hyperliquid is launching an on-chain vote on its own stablecoin USDH, pegged to the dollar. The decision will be made the same way as with delistings. For now, USDC (Arbitrum) is still in use on the platform.

❤️ On top of that, spot trading fees for liquid pairs (BTC/ETH, etc.) will be slashed by 80%. This should boost activity and cut costs for traders.

🧠 Hyperliquid stormed into the top in 2024-2025: trading volumes are already comparable to Bybit. Now they’re betting on their own stable and nearly free trading.

⚡️ Public crypto company BitMine is buying a stake in Beast Industries - the business of the biggest YouTube creator in the world. The deal is expected to close in January 2026.

🛸 BitMine is not a “Twitter startup”. It is a public company listed on the NYSE.
They focus on Ethereum and hold millions of ETH on their balance sheet. The company is led by Tom Lee from Fundstrat.

🚀 MrBeast has 450+ million subscribers and plans to build a full media company.
For crypto, this is a direct way to reach a mass audience - not through NFT hype, but through real business and media.

BitMine has not shared how big the stake is or how much influence it will have. For now, it looks like a bet on brand power and reach.
