Strategy continues its buying spree
From June 15 to June 21, Michael Saylor’s company acquired an additional 520 BTC for $34.9 million, averaging $67,068 per coin.
The firm now holds 847,363 BTC—approximately 4% of Bitcoin’s total circulating supply—purchased for around $64.1 billion since 2020. Its average cost basis remains at $75,651 per BTC.
At the same time, Strategy boosted its cash reserves from $1.1 billion to $1.4 billion, reinforcing its USD position—even as preferred shares (STRC) continue to trade below par, restricting the company’s ability to raise capital through that route.
According to SEC filings, the latest Bitcoin purchase and the additional $300 million in cash were fully funded by issuing new MSTR shares.
No evidence of Bitcoin being sold—only more BTC accumulating and stronger cash holdings on the balance sheet.
