Would you go with Jesus?
When the path is bright
When the way is cheery
And the burden’s light?

Would you go with Jesus?
When the path is dim
When the way is dreary
Would you trust in Him?
The Gain is greater than the Loss; in Hope, embrace the Cross.

"Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds." - Hebrews 12:2-3 KJV

By Their Fruit, After Their Kind

In the beginning when God made man,
He gave him a garden as part of the plan.
There were trees bearing fruit,
There were ewes bearing lambs;
Good begat good as a gift of God's hand.

In the beginning when God made Eve,
As from man she was formed, so a man she'd conceive.
There were figs bearing figs,
But no thorns bearing thorns;
Grapes begat grapes, but no sorrows were born.

In the beginning when God made trees,
He gave us a choice of the fruits as we please:
One tree we should eat,
And one tree we should not;
One tree was eternal and one tree was rot.

In the beginning when God made lambs,
He planned for the day when the Son of Man,
Would hang on a tree,
Be pierced by a thorn,
From garden to garden, our sorrows were borne.

In the beginning when God made wine,
He prepared us a way to be joined to the Vine,
To the thief who repents:
From the Lord Jesus Christ,
“Today, you will join me in Paradise.”

In the beginning when God makes new,
When at last death is past, and a new world in view,
Weakness reaps power,
And tears beget joy,
Good begets good when sin is destroyed.

This World as a Room would just be a Tomb, were there not enough Room for Jesus.

"If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable. But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive." - 1 Corinthians 15:19-22 KJV
