🇮🇱⚡️🇸🇾 | BREAKING: 120 elite troops from the Air Force's Shaldag and 669 units conducted a raid on an IRGC-linked advanced weapons production facility deep inside Syria on September 8th, the IDF has confirmed in its latest announcement regarding the operation.
The operation, dubbed 'Operation Deep Layer' by the IDF, targeted the Scientific Studies and Research Center (SSRC) in the Masyaf area of Syria. Elite IAF troops were inserted to the area via helicopter and eliminated the guards at the entrance to the facility, then raided the underground missile production site beneath it, collected documents and intelligence on-site, rigged the facility with explosives, destroyed it and withdrew.
Additionally, the IDF published exclusive footage from the mission, which shows troops from the Shaldag unit breaching and clearing out the facility. In another video published by the IDF, the elite troops can be seen departing and returning from the daring raid in Syria.
