🇮🇱⚡️🇱🇧 | IDF: Following the directive of the political echelon, the ceasefire agreement in Lebanon took effect at 04:00 today (Wednesday), and the IDF has been operating accordingly.

IDF troops are stationed at their positions in southern Lebanon.

Over the past hour, the IDF identified a vehicle with several suspects in a zone prohibited for movement in Lebanese territory. IDF troops fired to prevent them from advancing, and the suspects left the area.

The IAF remains ready to act across Lebanese territory and the IDF Aerial Defense Array is also in a high state of defensive readiness.

There are currently no changes to the Home Front Command guidelines.

The IDF will operate against anyone who attempts to breach the ceasefire agreement and will continue to protect the citizens of Israel.

🇮🇱⚡️🇱🇧 | Less than 12 hours into the ceasefire, reports already indicate that Hezbollah terrorists are actively attempting to return to strongholds and villages in southern Lebanon.

Defense Minister Israel Katz has stated that these movements are in violation of the ceasefire agreement - which restricts Hezbollah from having a presence in southern Lebanon - and that these actions endanger IDF forces in the area, who will respond forcefully to any such incidents.

Furthermore, footage circulating in Lebanese media depicts civilians actively provoking IDF tanks upon returning to their homes in southern Lebanon, setting a dangerous precedent which could unnecessarily lead to disastrous accidents.

🇮🇱⚡️🇱🇧 | Attached is one such instance, in which a Lebanese civilian in Khiam approaches an Israeli tank and records it.

These dangerous actions can easily be mistaken for suspicious activity and may have easily ended far worse had the man gone a few steps farther.

🇮🇱⚡️🇵🇸/🇮🇷 | In a joint IDF and Shin Bet activity, a major smuggling operation in the West Bank was thwarted, in which advanced Iranian weapons were transferred to terror groups in the Jenin area.

Smuggled items include:
- Long rifles
- Rocket-propelled grenade launchers
- Mortars
- Improvised explosive devices

🇮🇱⚡️🇱🇧 | In a video that has sparked outrage online, a Hezbollah MLRS truck can be seen driving freely on a Lebanese highway.

🇮🇱⚡️🇱🇧 | The IDF has confirmed that troops stationed in Lebanon have eliminated multiple terrorists who acted in a way which threatened their safety and violated ceasefire terms.

As a result of this, there are growing fears of Hezbollah rocket fire in response to this. Tensions are sky-high and the ceasefire is hanging on a loose thread.

🇮🇱⚡️🇱🇧 | According to a new report by The Times of Israel, up to 4,000 Hezbollah terrorists may have been killed over the past year of conflict.
