A thought from a 12th grader on the recently announced UEE result
α₯αα α«ααΈαα α₯αα΄? ααα΅α αα α₯αα α«α α α²αααα α₯αα α α¨αα΅ ! αͺαα¨αα²α² α₯αα ααα΅ α α«α΅αα£β Was the first thing I said when I heard that UEE would cover a 4-year course, from 9th grade up to 12th. While our seniors, who were taking this exam for the first time, were frustrated and confused, my friends and I, on the other hand, were completely calm, living by the quote, "ααα αα α₯αα ααα¨α α¨αα αα." But, as time passed, we became those 12th grader students for whom we had once felt empathy. Then slowly the tension came by the realization that this is the exam that might have an impact in our future. With that understanding, I began to seriously prepare for it and saw a version of myself who refused to accept any excuses.
Hearing the number of students who have failed this exam too was not an easy thing to swallow. With only 1.3% of social science students passing, it appears that you must be one of those bookish students who are always alone on their books, reading day and night. And itβs obvious to expect a feeling of terror in our parents when hearing this news. I've seen some of my friends give up and say "ααα¨α α΅ α¨αα αα". Whenever I hear them complain, I go up to them and motivate them to study harder because they have their truth, although blessing is from on high, the education system itself has its own drawbacks.
I believe that if we focus on giving students the practical education that is needed by the country rather than random facts, we can create a country that is diverse not only in its cultures but also in its knowledge. All in all, We should study for this exam, having set a bigger goal than just entering a University. We can study for it to test our resilience, our management of our time, and other things under pressure. That way, we can achieve much more wisdom than just a score on a piece of paper.
