Easy Relay Insights:

2-Hour Prior Check-In Rule
Even if your truck arrives 5 hours early and waits at the facility parking,
Amazon may still mark the load as LATE.

How the system works:
When your truck enters the PU geofence (1-mile radius), Amazon automatically marks the status as ARRIVED (Mobile Geofenced).

If your truck enters the geofence within 2 hours of the scheduled pickup time, delays at the guard shack or long lines will not count as late, even if the Yard Check-In (Y+) happens after the appointment time.

Important:
If your truck enters the PU geofence more than 2 hours early, and the yard check-in is late even by 1 minute, the load can be marked as LATE — even if the delay is caused by security or traffic at the entrance.

Recommendation:
Enter the PU geofence NO EARLIER than 2 hours before the scheduled pickup time.
Since Amazon Relay does not show when a driver completes a mobile geofence check-in, use EasyRelay to monitor mobile geofence status in real time.

Why is this important?

In the past, some brokers have charged significant amounts by claiming that our drivers damaged their trailers. However, in many cases, the damage was not caused by our drivers. The photos you take at the time of dropping and hooking the trailer will serve as proof of the trailer’s condition.
