This is the beginning of the end of the conservative grift known as GETTR. If even Joe Rogan is suspicious of its Chinese ties, and criticises its ridiculous system of inflating everyone's follower count to make it look a bigger platform than it actually is, then this failed project won't last very long. 🇺🇦 UOC Chancellor: Leaders of schism are puppets of major political players

— "The Chancellor of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Metropolitan Anthony of Boryspil and Brovary, in an interview with the UkrLive TV channel, expressed the opinion that the leaders of the schism in Ukraine are not able to influence the situation with division, since they are not completely independent in their actions.

"Everything is in God's hands. Yes, we do not see a desire so far to find the correct church way out of this issue, but we do not see the power that would lead to this solution. Probably, little depends on those who are now guiding the split in Ukraine. One way or another, as we are witnessing this, they are puppets in the hands of more powerful, to use the secular language, ‘players’, not only in the ecclesiastical environment, but also on a large geopolitical field,” Vladyka Anthony believes."

🌍 Be (Very) Afraid: World Economic Forum Expands List of Global Fears for 2022

— "Cyber attacks, militarization of space, extreme weather events, ecosystem collapse, social divisions, wars and the coronavirus pandemic. These are the key worries the World Economic Forum (WEF) highlighted Tuesday as reasons to be fearful for 2022.

A report released by the Switzerland-based organization, headed by founder and executive chairman Klaus Schwab, detailed the grim tidings ahead of the annual elite winter gathering of CEOs and world leaders in the ski resort of Davos.

The event has been postponed for a second year in a row because of coronavirus. WEF organizers still plan some virtual sessions next week, however its Global Risks Report 2022 makes for unpleasant reading."

"The Great Reset is about structural change in the world, that is, its deconstruction in all its aspects, so that nothing is the same - nothing of the order created by God. It speculates that children and young people in particular are eager for novelty and, taking advantage of this natural impulse, promotes unnatural or even defiant changes to the natural and normal, which were unanimously accepted until recently. It seeks the rebirth of man - but not "from water and the Spirit" (John 3:5) - but exclusively "from matter and ideology". It wants, in other words, the destruction of the man "set" to believe in God, in religious values and principles, but also accustomed to respect from the authorities, welfare and democracy, and the creation of the NEW MAN, based on other principles and values. In short, a NEW WORLD ORDER."

What three websites would you recommend for political/culture wars news?

(Preferably professional and reliable sites that aren't boomercon in outlook please. Helps admin out. Thank you)
Thank you for the helpful replies everyone, I always appreciate your opinions. Judging by the website recommendations, it seems we have a very based audience — it's great to see!
I will likely ask more questions over the next few days and weeks. Last year I spent a lot of time researching and making plans for this channel, but this year we will actually execute our goals. Feeling very white-pilled, I must say! The content we've got in store for the next 12 months will be groundbreaking!

🇪🇬 Theologian: Half of Alexandria Patriarchate's clergy want to join Russian Orthodox Church

— "About half of the clergy of the Alexandrian Patriarchate wish to leave for the Russian Orthodox Church because the Greek hierarchs ignored the needs of African Orthodox Christians and imposed Hellenism on them. This was told by the Candidate of Theology, a member of the Inter-Council Presence of the Russian Orthodox Church, Priest Georgy Maksimov in the lecture hall of the Russian Orthodox University "Krapivensky 4", according to the telegram channel "‘Chrisma’ Center”.

The priest believes that the presence of the Russian Church on the African continent will help to promote local Orthodoxy and heal earlier schisms, but this requires significant efforts and funds. Father Georgy predicts this will continue for more than one year under the close scrutiny of the opponents of the Russian Orthodox Church."

🇷🇺🇹🇷 Russian Church Calls for Dialogue with Patriarch of Istanbul

— "His Eminence Metropolitan Hilarion, Chairman of the Russian Orthodox Church Department for the External Relations, has commented on the recent statements from Patriarch Bartholomew:

"The Russian Orthodox Church still harbors hopes for the Patriarchate of Istanbul to recover clarity of mind and shift from the monologue mode to that of dialogue: this is the only way that inter-Orthodox problems can possibly be resolved. The conciliar mind of the Church might well find a satisfactory decision, as it happened many times in Church history."

"Primates of Local Churches ought to regularly meet face-to-face and discuss any outstanding issues," said His Eminence, "and should one of them speak for everyone else, claiming privileges he allegedly got from the apostles, this is sheer insanity."

🇷🇺🇪🇬 Met. Leonid tells of ROC's ambitious development program on the continent

— "The Exarch of Africa spoke about the possibility of creating educational institutions of the Russian Orthodox Church on this continent.

The Russian Orthodox Church does not exclude the possibility of creating new educational institutions in Africa, Patriarchal Exarch of Africa, Metropolitan Leonid of Klin said in an interview with Interfax-Religion.

“Today we are just starting to implement our plans. Undoubtedly, the issue of education is one of the top priorities. We have an understanding of how to approach it. There are excellent theological schools for teaching and training students. However, it is possible that we will create a number of educational institutions on the territory of the African continent, as long as it is necessary and expedient,” said Metropolitan Leonid."

🇷🇸🇦🇺 BREAKING: Australia cancels visa of unvaccinated tennis star Novak Djokovic for the second time

— "Australia has once more canceled Novak Djokovic’s visa, meaning that the tennis star will now be ordered to leave the country only days before attempting to defend his title at the Australian Open.

January 14, Australia’s immigration minister Alex Hawke overruled a Monday court decision which had ordered Djokovic to be released from isolation and granted him permission to stay in the country.

Exercising a personal power, Hawke canceled Djokovic’s visa saying that it was “in the public interest to do so.”"

🇷🇺🇹🇷 Some here are commenting on Metropolitan Hilarion Alfeyev's use of the name "Istanbul" instead of "Constantinople". This wasn't a mistake by His Eminence, it was a deliberate insult to the Ecumenical Patriarch, implying that the latter is not worthy of the honour and title of New Rome. It's actually a powerful under the table jab at Phanar.

🇪🇬🇷🇺 Patriarchate of Alexandria initiates a meeting of Primates of 5 Churches

— "Patriarch Theodore II of Alexandria sent a delegation and a letter to Patriarch Bartholomew of Constantinople with a request to convene a meeting of the Primates of the 5 Churches on the creation of the Patriarchal Exarchate of the Russian Orthodox Church in Africa, reports orthodoxia.info.

It is assumed that the meeting should be attended by the Primates of Constantinople, Alexandria, Antioch, Jerusalem (Churches of the Pentarchy - the five most ancient Churches, which included Rome, which later fell away from Orthodoxy) and the Cypriot Churches. Patriarch Theodore II will send a separate delegation with explanations to the Churches of Antioch and Jerusalem, which do not recognize the OCU."

Alexandria wants to convene a council or meeting with just the primates of Contantinople, Alexandria, Antioch, Jerusalem, and Cyprus to deal with the Russian Exarchate.

1. Now that their territory is under attack they suddenly see the need for a council.
2. Basically, they think a bunch of Greeks can get together to solve questions for the entire Church. This is only confirms how tone deaf Alexandria is and highlights why the African priests are eager to get out from under them.

We know what to expect from C’ple, Alexandria, and Cyprus, but the interesting question is what Antioch and Jerusalem will do.

— I will write a comprehensive post either later this evening or tomorrow explaining why it's likely, although not certain, that the two jurisdictions will reject the invitation of the Alexandrian Patriarchate to this council. Stay tuned!
