— "Today 10 January 2022, the Holy Synod of the Patriarchate of Alexandria has begun chaired by His Beatitude Pope and Patriarch Theodoros II. It’s started immediately after the divine liturgy at the Patriarchal chapel of Saint Theodore.

The Synod will run from 10th to 12th January 2022 with a number of issues to deliberate ranging from; the 'intrusion' of the Orthodox Churches on the African Continent , general wellbeing of clergy among others."

The key thing to note, is that the Ukrainian schism won't be resolved without a pan-Orthodox council to once and for all settle the issue. The decision to establish the exarchate was for this exact reason: to force the pan-Orthodox council to happen.

Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens and All Greece spoke about "good cooperation" with the US Ambassador to Greece on the issue of recognizing the OCU, reports the Greek edition “Romfea”.

During a meeting with members of the World Greek Interparliamentary Association, the Primate of the Church of Greece, Archbishop Ieronymos, said that they are doing "special and important work"."

In short, the UOC headed by His Beatitude Metropolitan Onufriy are 'our guys'.

The OCU, who are schismatics, are the main rival ecclesiastical group, headed by the unordained Epiphany Dumenko who supports globohomo and is an American puppet.
