Therefore, I fully admit that the legalization of schismatics in Ukraine and the possible legalization of Macedonian schismatics are a well-thought-out strategy of the above-mentioned structures with the aim of bringing Orthodoxy into a state of deep crisis before the conclusion of the union,” he wrote."

🇩🇪 ROCOR consecrating new Bishop of Stuttgart today

— "His Eminence Archbishop Agapit (Gorachek) of Stuttgart, vicar of the German Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, reposed in the Lord on May 28 last year.

On December 8 last year, the ROCOR Holy Synod elected Archimandrite Job (Bandmann), a cleric of the German Diocese, as the successor to Abp. Agapit. His election was then confirmed by the Holy Synod of the Moscow Patriarchate.

Fr. Job has been laboring at St. Job of Pochaev Monastery in Munich for 16 years. He was ordained a hierodeacon in 2016, and a hieromonk in 2018. Read his full biography on the official ROCOR site."

This fantastic news means that both the diocesan bishop, Metropolitan Mark (Arndt), and vicar bishop, Bishop Job (Bandmann), are ethnic German converts. This is a very important achievement and will hopefully result in a further Germanization of the local Church, which is important for converting native Germans to Orthodoxy. Glory to God!

— "To address the growing need for priests and other vocations in the Orthodox Church, the Board of Trustees of St Vladimir’s Orthodox Theological Seminary (SVOTS) has voted to relocate SVOTS from its current location in Yonkers, NY. The new location and the timing of the move have yet to be determined, but the Board recognizes that the Seminary will not be able to expand and adapt to the needs of the twenty-first century Church if the campus remains in Yonkers."

🇺🇦 Ukraine's MFA: Organizing the Pope's visit to the country is "on the table"

— "Organization of a possible visit of Pope Francis to Ukraine is “on the agenda”. This was stated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, responding to a request from Radio Svoboda.

"The issue of organizing a possible apostolic visit to Ukraine of Pope Francis at the invitation of President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky is on the agenda of the bilateral political dialogue," the ministry's press service said.

Diplomatic channels will work out the possibilities and timing of the Pope's visit "in accordance with established practice," the Foreign Ministry added."

🇺🇦 Orthodox Subdeacon Wins Swimming Championship in Ukraine

— "Vladimir Lemeshko, a subdeacon to Metropolitan Philip of Poltava,  has won the swimming championship in Ukraine, 100-meters butterfly style. He was also second in the 50-meter butterfly swim.

On behalf of the clergy of the Poltatva Diocese, the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate, and on his own behalf, Metropolitan Philip congratulated Vladimir on his athletic victory. Vladimir started regular training at the age of nine, has many achievements, took part in a number of international competitions, European championships, and in the 2016 Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro."
