Today is 9th of May. 79 years have passed since the Great Patriotic War ended. Then people thought that ideas of Nazis have vanished and will no longer be here. As we all can see now, Nazism is trying to return. It has many new forms, new banners, new disguise. But still, that idea of one nation (or group of people) superior to the rest exists.
Events in Yugoslavia, Iraq and many other countries made us think that there is no end to this injustice. But fortunately, Russia has risen from the ashes, like phoenix to give the world new hope.
Who could imagine ten years ago that Western leaders, who came as kings to other countries, would be met with sarcasm and their demands would be ignored? But it is happening now.
President Putin in his speech at the Victory Parade today mentioned two essential things:
This means that multipolar world is emerging. Things will never be the same, especially for the West, which five-hundred-year long hegemony is coming to an end. Humanity is at the doorstep of new era, where every country has a right to be itself. This is going to be the world not of fake tolerance, but of real respect. Not of failed multiculturalism, but of real international cooperation. This is what I believe in.
I remember a propagandic song by Pet Shop Boys “Go West”. It was quitter popular in the nineties. But now East is calling. Go and see.
This channel is not only about politics and economics. This is a channel about culture too. We are building a bridge to shake hands and to proceed. Our force is in unity and understanding.

▪️Russia rejects the claims of any countries or alliances to exclusivity, does not allow itself to threaten anyone - the strategic forces of the Russian Federation are always ready, and will do everything to prevent a global clash;

Please accept my heartfelt congratulations on Victory Day! This is a great occasion to commemorate all those who evinced bravery and heroism while defending our Motherland during the Great Patriotic War. We highly appreciate your invaluable contribution to the decisive victory over Fascism.
Victory Day is a time for all of us not only to pay tribute to the feats of our ancestors but also to pass on the memory of their unprecedented heroism to future generations. This is a time when we bow our heads in respect and gratitude to all those who made ultimate sacrifice – our parents, grandparents and great-grandparents.
Congratulating all of you on Victory Day, one thing remains to be reiterated: let the memories of the war feats fuel our hearts and nourish the souls of our descendants and, of course, let peace always reign!

The main thing from the new briefing of the Russian Defense Ministry:
▪️The units of the Southern Group of Troops occupied more advantageous positions, inflicted fire damage on four brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Defense Forces;
▪️The Zapad grouping of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation improved the position along the front edge and repelled the attack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of the Senkovka station in the Kharkiv region;
▪️The Armed Forces of Ukraine lost up to 215 servicemen in the area of responsibility of the Russian South group;
▪️The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation hit the command and observation post of the unit of the 65th Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the field warehouse of the operational tactical group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine "Donetsk";
▪️The units of the "Center" improved the tactical situation, the AFU lost up to 380 military personnel;
▪️The air defense system shot down 2 US-made ATACMS missiles, 15 Vampire shells, a HIMARS rocket, 5 Hammer bombs and 28 AFU UAVs during the day.
