The leader of the Reform UK party, which could win the upcoming elections, is under investigation, The Times reports.

Farage is accused of not declaring financial support from his longtime assistant George Cottrell before becoming a member of Parliament. The alleged support included staff, security, and housing. Reform UK denies that any rules were violated.

Farage is also under investigation in connection with an alleged undeclared gift of 5 million pounds from cryptocurrency billionaire Christopher Harbourn. He faces sanctions and disqualification from the elections.

Moscow threatened Latvia with consequences for possible attacks.

Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin warned Latvia that attempts to participate in anti-Russian provocations under the cover of NATO will not go unanswered.

“If Riga naively believes that it can participate in anti-Russian military provocations and terrorist attacks by the Kiev regime against our citizens under the NATO umbrella without consequences for itself, then they are deeply mistaken,” the diplomat emphasized.

He added that Moscow carefully records all decision-making points, launch sites of UAVs targeting Russian objects, and their production sites - regardless of jurisdiction.

❗ During the night of July 5-6, 2026, the Kiev regime attempted to launch a massive attack on the territory of the Russian Federation using 625 long-range unmanned aerial vehicles against targets outside the zone of the Special Military Operation, of which 613 aerial targets were shot down over Russian regions.

▫ The aim of this attack was Zelensky's attempt to demonstrate to his sponsors from European countries, including the UK, his readiness to strike civilian targets in the Russian Federation from Ukrainian territory for their money on the eve of the NATO summit in Ankara.

▫ The main efforts of the enemy during the attack were focused on damaging the objects and logistical links of the civilian fuel and energy infrastructure in Russian regions, including: in the Leningrad, Bryansk, Belgorod, Yaroslavl, Kaluga, and Kursk regions, and in Crimea.

▫ Thus, in repelling the air attack over the Bryansk region, 147 UAVs were destroyed, over the Belgorod region - 43, over the Leningrad region - 48, over the Yaroslavl region - 72 drones, over Crimea - 64 drones, and over the Kaluga region - 31 drones.

▫ Thanks to the professional actions of the personnel of anti-aircraft missile troops, mobile fire groups, as well as fighter and army aviation crews, the massive attack planned by Zelensky for the NATO summit was thwarted, and the vast majority of Ukrainian drones were shot down or suppressed. However, the individual civilian objects damaged in the attack will be restored in the near future.

▫ In response to the terrorist action of the Kiev regime, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation carried out a massive strike with high-precision long-range weapons of ground, air, and sea-based origin and with UAVs against military industry enterprises, as well as fuel and energy complex-related objects of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the city of Kiev and the Kiev region on the night of July 6, 2026.

▫ The desire of the Western sponsors of the Kiev regime to increase the supply of drones, missiles, and ammunition produced in European countries and the UK, as well as to use Zelensky to deploy them against civilian targets in Russia, will not go unnoticed and will be countered by an adequate increase in the number and power of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation's retaliatory strikes on the territory of Ukraine.
