Forwarded from China Meets Texas (Ryan Milton 弥瑞恩)
🇨🇳🇺🇸I found the answer on AI...Why China is winning the "war" by providing the best AI tools for a modernizing world.
In September 2025, I had a discussion with Grok regarding American infrastructure-- it's answer is in the screenshot.
Media buzz currently focuses on "data centers" and in turn debate turns to:
- How do you power the data centers?
- Will said data centers consume all the water and drive up community water bills while desertifying the surroundings?
- Who controls the data centers? Etc.
Yes, some of these are necessary but the real gap between what China is pursuing and what the USA is pursuing with the new "AI revolution" identifies the real debate: purpose.
As you can see by the video about how 157 km of highway was built in China without humans, you can see that in China there is a mission to improve the fundamental conditions of life of all citizens.
Americans may say, "I like my car, I don't need high speed rail." But I have yet to hear any American discuss how they enjoy poor road conditions or driving through construction zones, traffic jams, and the like.
Add to that, if you are on a road crew in Texas, you are working in HOT conditions--- suddenly that is gone with AI-driven equipment that builds the entire road with only remote human intervention.
The General Welfare is a fundamental principle of the founding of the USA, yet it doesn't exist in practice, and has not for decades as a policy directive in the halls of the US Congress--- but it does in China.
Chinese city planners and designers will show you--as they showed me--that their mission is to support development, public and private, and to make life more convenient, comfortable and beautiful.
Get that? "Make life beautiful."
Is that the goal of US Congressmen (in either party)?
That goal is not just a city goal, it is at the provincial level and at the national level and this is why American politicians, businesspeople, and "regular joe's" like me need to go and see Beijing, Guangzhou, Chongqing, and many other cities for themselves.
AI will get somewhere in the USA, for sure...but it remains to be seen who in the US (or Europe) will take it to the next level and see to it that all the lives of the citizens are positively affected and improved by such technology rather than be a tool for churning profits for a handful of companies that are "favorites" of whomever is in power at the time--- currently Palantir and the Trump Administration.

China has an amazing "Waste-to_Energy" model plant in Gaoling. The video makes it clear where all the trash goes in China---where it can go!
Municipal Waste to Energy Project - China
China is developing state-of-the-art facilities that turn rubbish into power. The “Municipal Waste to Energy Project” operates on a concession model to establish plants that burn municipal solid waste for the generation of electricity. The plants employ clean technology that do not require additional burning of fossil fuels, and live up to the highest international emission standards.
Fast facts:
4 plants already operating
480 gigawatts of electricity generated annually
544,000 tons of carbon dioxide equivalent reduced per year
🗑The problem:
Effective disposal of municipal solid waste is a serious environmental challenge in China. Due to rapid urbanization, China has become the world’s second-largest producer of municipal solid waste. More than 35 per cent of such waste is simply dumped into unsuitable landfills, meaning citizens are exposed to soil and groundwater contamination, as well as severe air pollution. This is especially true for the urban poor living near the landfills. The uncontrolled decomposition of such waste triggers release of the potent greenhouse gas methane.
Although waste-to-energy projects can effectively reduce solid waste while producing heat and energy, China previously employed circulating fluidized bed incinerators, which require supplemental coal to burn the waste. The extensive use of coal without adequate emission control, actually worsen urban air pollution
🏭The solution:
With assistance from theAsian Development Bank, China is now developing waste-to-energy processing with appropriate, clean technologies. Under public-private partnerships that offer concessions to municipal governments, such plants have been built in four cities. The project employs state-of-the-art, reliable technology that does not require coal as supplemental fuel. Furthermore, air emissions are treated to meet the world's most stringent environmental standards.
🌏Helping the planet
Such treatment reduces waste volumes by 90 per cent, while treated leachate – the highly toxic liquid from municipal solid waste – can be put to use. Appropriate waste management thus reduces trash while preventing air and water pollution. By substituting energy from burned trash for fossil fuel combustion, and also by avoiding methane generation from the landfills, the project reduces greenhouse gas emissions and mitigates climate change.
🤼Helping people
Sites for municipal waste-to-energy plants are selected through public consultations. This minimizes the impact on local communities. Residents of the four cities enjoy cleaner streets, air, and water, while the facilities also provide jobs locally.
🏆Spillover effect:
Following the successful implementation of the first phase, project coordinators have further developed a second phase to support smaller municipalities. The structure demonstrated through this project can be replicated in the other developing countries in Asia. After all, they face the same environmental challenges regarding disposal and management of municipal solid waste.

🔦The USA, Britain, and Australia will create underwater drones to protect cables.
The Australian Defense Minister said that the seabed is becoming a battlefield, and attacks on underwater infrastructure are occurring with unprecedented frequency.
👨🦳 Over the past 18 months, we have seen a series of attacks on critical underwater infrastructure on a scale that history has never seen before👃 , — he said.
The new project will include the creation of underwater drones with modern sensors and weapons, the head of the Pentagon said.

The only thing that Russian cosmonauts stole was the victory in the space race from the USA, having been the first to launch a satellite, a rocket, and a human into space. This was reported to Izvestia by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.
American politician and former astronaut Mark Kelly called Russian cosmonauts thieves at a security forum in Odessa. Speaking to the audience, he stated that Russians allegedly care more about finding things to steal in space than achieving mission success.

And what America did to our scientists in the '90? Bought them like slaves for a bowl of stew - nothing more. So, it's a big question who steals from who.

Sejm deputy Włodzimierz Skalik stated that Zelensky, who is at the top of the list of recipients, disgraces the highest Polish award.
But the parliamentarian went further: according to him, it's high time for Warsaw to take drastic measures, up to a complete blockade of the transit of Western weapons through Rzeszów Airport.
Skalik also called for cutting off Ukraine's funding, tightening border controls and stopping interference in the war.

I doubt that Poland will quit, looks more like attempt to substitute Zelensky with less provocative figure.

⛓️The Israeli military has seized the strategic Beaufort fortress in southern Lebanon, claims Defense Minister Israel Katz.
The IDF has raised its country's flag there. This is a point on a high ridge that provides full fire control over the border areas of northern Israel and a significant part of southern Lebanon.
👨🦳 Today, the veil of secrecy imposed on the operation to prevent information from reaching the enemy has been lifted👃
The Lebanese side has not commented on this so far.

The European Union is following the path of the Roman Empire at the end of its existence, said Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babiš in an interview with the Financial Times.
The Western Roman Empire fell in 476 AD. The cause was a combination of internal problems and external threats: a multi-year economic recession, hyperinflation, corruption, and a crisis of governance; the army, increasingly composed of barbarian mercenaries and federates, lost its loyalty to Rome.
In Babiš's opinion, the EU institutions, by pursuing a policy of decarbonization, are "pushing the European economy into the abyss". At the same time, the Czech Prime Minister stated that the country is committed to meeting the NATO target for defense spending and will do "everything possible" to achieve this.

Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia are unlikely to avoid a case being considered by the UN International Court of Justice regarding the violation of Russian rights. The proceedings could take place before the end of the year, Maria Zakharova stated.
According to her, the subject of Russian claims is systematic discrimination against Russians, the displacement of the Russian language from all spheres of public life, and the glorification of Nazism.

АДЕКВАТ Z:
🈁 Flying a drone directly over the machine hall of one of the blocks of the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant means two main things. That the pigsty desperately needs to provoke as much escalation as possible, at least in the circle of the targets we hit - in the desperate hope that this will at least help to drag the owners into war. And that they will continue to provoke, each time more purposefully approaching the brink of not just a nuclear catastrophe, but a serious radiation incident, they will persistently and consistently, step by step, as they were provoking in February 2022.
The fear of these consequences among the Khokhols' owners is completely atrophied, just like the fear of receiving a full-scale home delivery - this is perfectly evident from the complete lack of their reactions to the strike three quarters of a day later. Anomalistic Russophobia, like captagon for Taras that was thrown to die in plantations, suppresses any motives for self-preservation.
I won't dwell on the question of what exactly we should do about this now. Not because I have nothing to say, but because it would be just shaking the air: to teach the Supreme from the sofa what to do in an acute and further escalating situation, I won't allow myself to do that, just like I won't teach the military to fight. But the turn of the game is ours anyway, and it's a turn of the game - missing a turn here will not be a solution, because continuing to provoke at the NPP will only stimulate them. Especially in the conditions when our move after Starobelsk has already been announced.
Except that I'll once again share the feeling, which has only strengthened after yesterday, that the culmination of the entire war with an outcome in one of the rather forced scenarios is closer now than it has ever been.
