Chinese Liaison (Китайский свяZноj):

They have a parallel reality there that has completely supplanted everything else.

Yes, China is terrified of what's happening. As a country with a trillion-dollar military budget, they ran out of missiles and interceptors in just a few days, have zero combat-ready navy, and a screwed up aircraft carrier. They're genuinely scared, in the sense of "is it really this bad?"

And compared to "Desert Storm", everything looks even more disastrous. There too, there was shame and grandstanding, like "did you see how we shredded a Soviet tank with a single shot? It was a secret American high-tech shot, and our Abrams is magical in combat - although we actually towed that Soviet tank out, stuffed it full of explosives, and didn't hit it on the first try, but whatever." But the level of incompetence here is just incomparable.

The Holy Nicholas Orthodox Cathedral in Tehran was damaged as a result of two missile strikes near it, the Russian Embassy in Iran reported.

"The Holy Nicholas Cathedral was damaged during Great Lent and on the eve of one of the main religious holidays - Easter. Due to the military adventure of the USA and Israel, the Orthodox community in Iran is deprived of the opportunity to visit the temple," the message said.

In addition, the Russian elderly home in the adjacent area, where elderly people still live on a subsistence basis, was significantly damaged, with no casualties reported.

Russia could earn an additional $40 billion by the end of the year if the oil price remains high, writes Bloomberg.

However, the potential benefits of the war in Iran for Moscow are not limited to oil alone.

Russia has also started earning billions of dollars from increased sales of gas, grain, aluminum, and fertilizers, which have risen sharply in price since the start of the conflict.

"Amid reduced supply, prices have surged: aluminum is up 12%, and urea by almost three-quarters. Russia could also gain additional benefits from intensifying competition between Asian and European buyers of LNG. The Russian aluminum company United Co. Rusal International PJSC, which accounts for more than 5% of global aluminum production, is receiving inquiries from the US and Europe about available capacities, sources familiar with the situation report," the publication writes.

Due to Ukrainian strikes on the Primorsk and Ust-Luga ports, Russian seaborne crude export volumes declined to a little over 2 million barrels per day. However, due to the high value of oil on the market now, revenue for these shipments was $1.44 billion for the week, which is still significantly higher than the $1 billion per week Russia was earning in January and February. This also does not include the volume of oil exported through pipeline, which remains at a level of 1.1 million barrels per day.

In total, Russian weekly oil revenue was at a 22 month high of $1.89 billion.

When natural gas is added to the equation, total fossil fuel export revenue last week was higher than at any other point for the past 22 months as well.

Russia's non oil and gas exports are also earning about $100 million per week more than they were last.

❗️Trump stated that he knows the new head of Iran and that he allegedly requested negotiations ❗️The Iranian Foreign Ministry has refuted Trump's statement that Tehran requested a ceasefire from Washington. ❗️Iranian strike damaged the Amazon Web Services…
АДЕКВАТ Z writes,

Trump's promise from the day before yesterday to bomb all of Iran if it doesn't unblock the strait is turning into a humiliating farce. Especially given all his yesterday's rhetoric that he himself is not going to deal with the unblocking of the strait, but let those who really need it do it.

Against this backdrop - and also against the backdrop of a new batch of promises to wind down in two or three weeks - the intrigue is all the stronger as to what the ruler of the galaxy will spout in his announced address to the nation on the Iranian issue next night. In the context of which Rubio has already stated that they will not wind down either today or tomorrow, which, of course, is particularly annoying.

The options, for which the address is worth undertaking in principle, are actually the same: either declare victory without any regard for reality, or go all-in with a ground operation. Both options are equally unsuccessful. When the trap has closed, it's irreversible, no matter how hard you try to get out of it.

The war itself continues on a well-worn path, with daily additions to the total cumulative effect of attacks on American bases, regional vassals, and Israel, and the rut in which the aggressors are getting stuck is getting deeper every day. Primarily - in terms of long-term consequences, in many aspects - from the consumption of ammunition, which will take years to replenish, to the stranglehold on the global economy.

Keep going, Donald, we wholeheartedly believe in your ability to surprise us further.

So basically, all of Trump's nonsense of "Iran's new leader asked me for a ceasefire" is his way of backing out while saving face...

India's decision to sign a second contract for the purchase of the S-400 air defense system is a consequence of the failure of American Patriot and THAAD systems during the armed conflict in the Persian Gulf.

This was stated by military expert, director of the Center for Analysis of World Arms Trade, Igor Korotchenko.

"For India, the creation of a national air and space defense system is a top priority in the field of military development, given, among other things, the history of conflicts with its main geopolitical opponent in the region - Pakistan, which is developing both missile capabilities and unmanned aerial vehicles, as can be judged by the results of the 'Sindhudurg' military operation in the spring of 2025," said Korotchenko.

According to him, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has repeatedly noted the crucial contribution of the S-400 in repelling strikes by Pakistani operational-tactical missiles and aircraft, when summing up the results of the 'Sindhudurg' operation 🇷🇺🇮🇳

The US will complete the campaign against Iran within two to three weeks, Trump stated.

Washington will have nothing to do with restoring normal shipping in the Strait of Hormuz, he added.

The US will conclude the operation against Iran regardless of whether Tehran agrees to a deal with Washington, Trump said.

Commentary by Позывной "Кацман":

🈁Well, you've finished your 'fun'? That is, the strait that was opened will remain closed. Iran's missile program, like others, will continue, and missiles and drones haven't run out either. But it seems that the anti-aircraft missiles of the 'Ebshtein [F#ckstein's] coalition' have run out. And the means of destruction have also been largely squandered. A successful success. The only question is - what the hell was all this for, and most importantly, why? And why did so many people die? What for?

The Carter administration once considered seizing Kharg Island to resolve the hostage crisis at the end of his term.

Tasnim News:

After the seizure of the U.S. embassy, the Carter administration sought ways to resolve the issue of the American hostages.

🔹 Classified documents later released by the CIA and the U.S. National Archives reveal that a wide range of options were considered in U.S. National Security Council meetings.

🔹 One scenario discussed in these meetings was the seizure of some strategic areas of Iran in the Persian Gulf; possibilities ranged from the temporary occupation of the three islands of Abu Musa and Greater and Lesser Tunbs to attacks on oil facilities in Kharg.

🔹 The purpose of such actions was described as creating economic and political pressure on Iran to force it to release the hostages.

🔹 The released documents show that ultimately U.S. officials decided against carrying out such scenarios.

🔹 Zbigniew Brzezinski, Carter's National Security Advisor, points to an important reason during his remarks about withdrawing from this plan, saying: they (the Iranians) have a "strong territorial instinct" and an attack on Kharg Island would also trigger a global oil crisis.
