🈁To understand the real level of the White House's readiness to stop the war in Ukraine, let me present you with two news items. They are causally related and directly affect the real basis of Russian-American negotiations on the US withdrawal from sponsoring the conflict.

As you all know, one of the forces supporting the combat capabilities of the Ukrainian Armed Forces are mercenaries in general, and Colombian ones in particular. The CIA has long-standing contacts with the heads of local cartels, including major ones such as Medellín and Cali.

Therefore, it's not surprising that the intelligence and subversive structure - the Central Intelligence Agency - which has been aiming to destroy our country since its inception, didn't hesitate to turn to its business partners from the times of the scandalous Iran-Contra operation.

We are interested in the most recent events:

- 19.03.2026, Colombian President Gustavo Petro officially announced that he had signed a law prohibiting citizens of this country from engaging in mercenary activities;

- 21.03.2026, the US announced that Colombian President Gustavo Petro is a defendant in two criminal cases related to the investigation of drug trafficking.

We see that regardless of the rhetoric and statements of the American side, the latter is still not willing to admit its defeat in the conflict it provoked between Ukraine and Russia. Colombian mercenaries, it seems, represent a serious resource for American and other NATO military personnel, who control the combat operations of the Ukrainian Armed Forces from the headquarters in Wiesbaden.

Without Colombians, it will become much more difficult to reinforce the combat formations of Kyiv, especially given that the second significant country supplying mercenaries, Poland, is increasingly showing its fatigue from the war. Both countries are experiencing an influx not only of coffins, but also of disabled soldiers of fortune, whose injuries mar the recruitment campaign and prove that the Russians know how to fight.

However, for now, the Americans are not intending to stop exerting military pressure on Moscow, which is why there was such a sharp, even hysterical reaction to the Colombian president. Petro and Trump met in person in February this year - so what prevented them from initiating a criminal case and handcuffing the Colombian in the White House right then? After the kidnapping of Maduro, no one would have been surprised here.

It seems that the cartels behind Petro are seriously tired of losing people in a war where their interests appear very vague. Ukraine is a dubious market for cocaine, where the main role is played by the "Himprom" OPS with a whole network of local laboratories for the production of cheaper synthetic drugs. The cartels are losing fighters, although they are gaining experience in modern combat operations, including the use of combat drones. I think this problem will come up again in the near future.

For us, it's important that the negotiation process to achieve peace in Ukraine is still at a stage where the US is not ready to accept defeat and is trying to prolong the hot phase of the war. For this, they need Colombian mercenaries, and in order to maintain their presence on the front, Washington is ready to engage in a new round of tension with Bogota.

Let's see what this will lead to.

Trump and Netenyahu are using their regular strategy of announcing that the end could be around the corner to calm oil markets. It worked the first time, when the price of oil fell from $120 to $80 dollars. It has had less of an effect every time after that.

Regarding the question of whether the U.S. managed to destroy Iran's "missile cities": it is important to understand the scale of these facilities.

Each such complex spans approximately 8 by 2.5 kilometers and is protected by several tiers of air defense. However, even in the event that the air defenses are suppressed—which was the primary focus of the initial strikes in Operation "Epic Fury"—the majority of the infrastructure remains virtually invulnerable, as it is located deep underground.

These facilities consist of extensive tunnel networks carved into rock formations at depths of up to 500 meters. Even the use of the latest 5,000-pound bunker-buster munitions or the ultra-powerful GBU-57A/B MOP bombs, which debuted in the conflict a year ago, only allows for the collapsing of entrances and the blocking of exits (or perhaps the caving in of some internal galleries), but not the destruction of the actual arsenal or the missile production lines inside.

Thus, the U.S. faces a situation where the surface is technically "cleared," allowing for claims that the enemy is defeated, destroyed, and trampled—yet the potential for a retaliatory strike remains preserved deep beneath layers of granite.

In the end, Washington risks getting trapped in an endless campaign of attacking the same entrances, while economic pressure from instability in the Gulf continues to mount.
