Military Chronicle:
US and Israeli officials are reportedly coordinating the technical details of a risky operation to land special forces and subsequently seize Iran's stockpile of enriched uranium, which amounts to 460 kg.
Presumably, the Iranians are privately willing to transfer these reserves to a third country, but the US is likely not satisfied with any country other than itself.
There is no final decision on the operation yet, but there is a suggestion that it could take place simultaneously with a landing on Kharg Island. In a way, the transfer of a group of marines and a ground operation in this area would be needed to briefly distract Iran's attention from nuclear facilities. This temporary "window" is planned to be used by the special forces of Israel and the US [to seize the Uranium].

On March 18, 1965, for the first time in the world, a human went into open space — it was the Soviet cosmonaut Alexei Leonov.
At 10 o'clock Moscow time, the spacecraft "Vostok-2" with cosmonauts Pavel Belyayev and Alexei Leonov successfully launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome.
At 11:34:51 Leonov went into outer space. He was connected to the spacecraft only by a 5.35-meter-long tether, which included a steel cable and electrical wires for transmitting medical observation and technical measurement data to the ship, as well as for telephone communication with the ship's commander Belyayev.
Leonov spent 12 minutes and 9 seconds in space.
All this time, a comfortable temperature was maintained in the spacesuit, and its outer surface heated up in the sun to +60°C and cooled down in the shade to -100°C.
Thanks Мирсалимова for reminding

🈁 The Iranians did not protect Larijani, a very important figure in their system. Whether they really protected him, I don't know. Whether he really protected himself, I don't know either: their attitude towards death, and thus towards personal safety, is peculiar there.
The calculation of the pedophile coalition is not hidden and is openly announced without any embarrassment: to kill key state figures until those who want to surrender come to power after some rotation. It's not hard to understand how this calculation cannot go unnoticed in Iran itself: the aggressor is waging a war to destroy the country and enslave the people, and there are no alternatives to the most fierce resistance until victory is achieved. Including because no one on that side can be trusted at all - and therefore victory must be secured not just on paper, but also materially. Excluding the very possibility of a repeat of aggression.
Therefore, Tel Aviv, with the already almost complete lack of resistance from the "iron colander", continues and will continue to improve amazingly right before our eyes, the stranglehold on the world economy will continue to be tightened, generating cumulative effects, and the ruler of the galaxy will continue to go berserk. Both due to the total refusal of all vassals, without exception, to participate in attempts to break this stranglehold, and their own inability to do so.
Unless a black swan the size of a pterodactyl strikes the aggressor's side, the war will be long, not weeks, but months. And its transition to a new quality in the form of the start of targeted attacks on oil and gas infrastructure seems a matter of time and an opportunity. Even in the conditions of today's declarative readiness of both sides to refrain from such attacks.

In connection with the facts of the Russian Armed Forces' use of new types of weapons against the enemy, the latter has created a small infographic. First of all, we are talking about the long-range cruise missile "Izdeliye 30", but they also mentioned the new versions of "Geranium" - "Geranium-4" and "Geranium-5".

Oil prices surged sharply on Wednesday as the Iran conflict continued to disrupt flows through the Persian Gulf, with the global benchmark pulling decisively away from U.S. crude as the Brent-WTI spread widened to roughly $10 per barrel, signaling mounting stress in seaborne supply markets.
Brent crude climbed to about $108.40 per barrel while U.S. West Texas Intermediate traded near $98.50, according to pricing on Oilprice.com, pushing the spread to its widest level in months and well above its typical $2-$5 range.
The divergence reflects a market increasingly pricing risk around barrels exposed to the Strait of Hormuz, where military activity tied to the U.S.-Israeli war with Iran has begun to disrupt tanker movements and raise insurance and freight costs.

The prices of oil and European natural gas rose immediately after Iran's statement about the damage to its energy facilities on the coast in the Persian Gulf, reports Bloomberg.
These are the most extensive strikes on an industry that is of critical importance to Tehran since the beginning of the war.
The price of Brent oil rose by 2.7% to $105.87 per barrel, and the price of European natural gas increased by 1.8%.
As reported by Iranian state television, several facilities were attacked, including the South Pars gas field, which is a source of supplies to Turkey, a refinery, and an unspecified petrochemical facility near the city of Asaluye.

Iran stated that the US and Israel carried out strikes on its South Pars gas field, and some gas and oil facilities were put out of action.
After this, the IRGC demanded that personnel in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the UAE immediately leave the petrochemical plants. In other words, it made it clear that there would be retaliatory strikes.

Forwarded from The American Majority
I am almost entirely convinced that Trump won't accept defeat and will double down and send the troops. His ego is way too big and he is way too retarded not to. Depending on what the mission will be, those soldiers will get killed, which will make the ego oy vey even worse.
I do not believe Trump, his administration, or the "people" behind the scene have any intention of cutting their losses and backing out of this situation.

Brief Frontline Report – March 18th, 2026
Summary by Marat Khairullin and Mikhail Popov.
Message from the Russian Ministry of Defense: "Russian Defense Minister Andrey Belousov congratulated the command and personnel of the 283rd Motorized Rifle Regiment on the liberation of the settlement of Aleksandrovka in the Donetsk People's Republic.
'Servicemen of the regiment, displaying bravery and selflessness, are conducting liberation battles. As a result of professional and decisive actions, the enemy has suffered significant losses and fled. Following combat traditions, you, sparing nothing, defend the interests of our Motherland, and the memory of your feats of arms will remain for centuries,' stated the congratulatory telegram from the Russian Defense Minister."
On March 5 and 6, the Russian Armed Forces liberated two key settlements upon which the Ukrainian Armed Forces' defensive hub in the Izyum direction relied: Yarovaya and Sosnovoe. A bridgehead was prepared for developing the offensive north toward Rubtsy-Oskol, aiming for crossings over the Oskol River, and southwest toward Svyatogorsk, reaching the left bank of the Seversky Donets River at the Ukrainian Armed Forces' defense sector of Studenok-Svyatogorsk-Sidorovo. By advancing Russian formations to the Bogorodichnoe-Sidorovo line, a deep operational envelopment of the Slavyansk sector from the north will be formed, threatening to reach the rear of the agglomeration.
Such an advance by Russian formations is possible if the threat from the right flank—from the Koroviy Yar - Rubtsy - Krymki area—is eliminated, and crossings over the Oskol River in the area of the Oskol settlement are blocked, which would deprive the enemy of the ability to maneuver reserves from the right bank.
In order to accomplish this operational task, the "West" Group, with its left flank, began moving in the direction from Novoselovka to Rubtsy. On March 18, units of the 283rd Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 144th Guards Motorized Rifle Division liberated the settlement of Aleksandrovka (49°06′56″ N 37°35′25″ E, population 500 in 2001) and reached the border of the Donetsk People's Republic and Kharkov Oblast. Ahead lies a well-fortified enemy defensive hub, relying on the defense areas of Koroviy Yar - Rubtsy - Krymki, which covers access to crossings and the road network along clearings and paths in the Izyum pine forest.
