Araghchi: We have never requested a ceasefire or even negotiations
We continue to defend ourselves!
The Foreign Minister in an interview with CBS:
🟢 We are ready to defend ourselves and that is what we have done so far.
🟢 We will continue to do this until President Trump reaches the point that this is an illegal war with no victory for him.
🟢 People are only being killed because of this war because Trump said he wants to have fun!
He sinks ships because he is having fun!
The US Secretary of War said there is no mercy; this is a war crime.

The US plans to announce this week the creation of a coalition to escort ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz.
➖ ➖ ➖
You'll need two naval vessels for each tanker, and they will have to accompany them on every single passage. This directly puts soldiers in harm's way. I can see why Trump wants other countries involved. "They aren't Americans that got killed, so who cares?" I can already see him saying this. Joining Trump's convoy is the ultimate act of submission for anyone who gets involved. It's questionable wether or not the crews of these tankers will want to take this risk even with an escort.

Iranian missiles are crashing into the Negev region of Israel without triggering the Israeli defenses.
➖ ➖ ➖
The Israelis may just be holding back interceptors for heavy missile strikes.
They're probably waiting for the Iranians to get more daring, draw more launchers out of hiding, and then the air forces of the USA and Israel will pounce.
Iran needs to time their grand attack carefully.

Карманов без Китая on pretty basic stuff, actually:
> The company Niantic reported that the photos and augmented reality data collected in the game Pokémon Go have allowed the creation of a dataset containing more than 30 billion real-world images. Now, the company is using this data to develop an artificial intelligence-based visual navigation system for delivery robots.
> Players didn't just walk around with their phones. They scanned landmarks, shop windows, parks, and sidewalks from all angles, at any time of day, in various lighting and weather conditions that staged photography could never capture. They documented the physical world on a scale that no mapping company with a fleet of vehicles could replicate in the same timeframe or with the same budget.
> The company Niantic systematically collected this data, point by point, over eight years, while users believed that the only thing at stake was catching a rare Pokémon.
When in Hong Kong, they all flocked in droves to strange places, such as pedestrian bridges and closed facilities (like near an explosives warehouse on Lantau), because a rare Pokémon had been randomly spawned there. I explained to the players that nothing was randomly spawned there, and it was clearly someone collecting a database of locations and photos. There were many cries and whines, but now there's official information from the company.

Macron held a telephone conversation with Iranian President Peshekhian.
The French leader stated that he called on the Iranian leader to "put an end to unacceptable attacks on countries in the region". He also demanded the restoration of freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.
In Macron's opinion, peace in the Middle East can only be ensured by a security framework that implies that Iran will never obtain nuclear weapons and will not develop ballistic missiles.
Earlier, the French leader announced the preparation of a "defense mission" to resume safe navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.

Of course, bring rude to Iran is very efficient 😏. Especially, after the French were literally told "fuck you" by Ushakov regarding Ukraine.

Today, the Russian Armed Forces carried out a very limited missile-drone strike on targets in Kyiv and its surroundings. Reports indicate the use of one and a half to two dozen "Geran" UAVs, the "Iskander-M" tactical missile system, and the new "Product 30" cruise missile. Among the targets were local thermal power plants.
Amid the test launches of the new cruise missile, it's interesting to speculate about the launch platform. The enemy assumes that it could be Su-34 bombers. However, there was no official announcement about the operation of "large" aircraft.

Now this is very interesting: recipients report that the drone that fell near the Independence Monument turned out to be... a "Lancet." And not just any Lancet, but one equipped with an artificial intelligence module. This is indicated by the characteristic color marking in the form of two circles. V2U UAVs operate using this same system, both individually and as part of a swarm — this is done so the AI can orient itself relative to other units in the sky.
Therefore, the Lancet that ended up in Kyiv was operating completely autonomously: it made its own way to the Ukrainian capital, monitored the situation, and searched for a target. Interestingly, its onboard serial number is given in the registration format used for "large" aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces — RFXXXXX. Perhaps, as a joke, the actual registration number of some Tu-160M was applied.

Germany and the UK have refused to participate in the US operation to unblock the Strait of Hormuz, reports The Telegraph.
Washington was trying to gather a coalition of allies to protect merchant ships and oil tankers. However, key European countries are not ready to directly join the military operation.
Berlin made it clear that Germany would not participate in combat actions and "is not a party to the war."
London is also in no hurry to send ships to escort vessels. The British are discussing with the US ways to open the Strait of Hormuz, but they emphasize de-escalation rather than a military operation.
The British government is considering only limited options for participation, such as using marine drones to search for and disarm mines.

Military Chronicle:
The Lebanese side claims that Hezbollah has allegedly received third-generation Iranian anti-tank missiles, the ALMAS. According to Lebanese sources, these missiles have destroyed several Israeli Merkava Mk4 tanks. The destruction of a tank in the video allegedly took place on March 8 in the area of the town of Merkaba in southern Lebanon. The first hit reportedly struck the right side in the area of the front road wheels; the operator hit the tank's roof with the second missile. It is not specified whether the Trophy active protection system missed both missiles or only the first, after which the tank was immobilized.
In the latest modifications (2024–2026), the Trophy's software has been updated to counter new threats — in particular, FPV drones and munitions dropped from UAVs.
Earlier, Israeli authorities announced they were beginning a ground operation in Lebanon. Units of the 91st Division, as well as special forces, were deployed for this purpose.

The price of Russian oil in India has reached a record high amid growing demand for the Urals grade, reports Bloomberg.
On Friday, the price of Urals oil on the west coast of India reached $98.93 per barrel. This price, including the cost of delivery, is the highest since Russia redirected oil exports to India after the invasion of Ukraine in early 2022.
And the discount has decreased to $4.80 per barrel compared to the global benchmark Dated Brent. This is the lowest level of the discount in more than four months.

🇮🇷Reports indicate that the Strait of Hormuz may have been partially mined by Iran.
On the other hand, the Pakistani oil tanker Karachi (Aframax oil tanker) passed through on March 15-16 with the Automatic Identification System operating openly, and it took a route close to Iranian waters, indicating the existence of monitored or safer corridors in the strait.

I've written a post about this a while ago. I seriously don't think the guy is physically capable of telling the truth. As in, he would explode if he did. I'm sure he lies about the most inconsequential things in private life as well. He's just that type of person. He lies not because he wants to obfuscate the truth for one reason or another, as most of us do, but simply because lying is his nature.
