Syrsky and western media made the claim that the AFU counteroffensive in the areas of Dnepropetrovsk and Zaporozhye managed to penetrate all of the way to Novogrivorovka (Ukr. Novohryhorivka). VoinDV posted a video refuting this showing Russian soldiers capturing a surrendering Ukrainian soldier in Verbovoe.

They wrote,

"We continue to monitor the barrage of news and media sources from our opponents. The lack of real confirmation for their loud statements is becoming increasingly noticeable: the inconsistency of these very statements is simply astounding. While Syrsky has increased the number of square kilometers [that they have supposedly gained] to 400, Voloshin declares that the situation is difficult and tense. Others have finally managed to admit the loss of Gulyaipole, while others are publishing outdated footage from Novogrigorovka, passing it off as a victory.

Meanwhile, the fighters of the 'East' troop group continue to carry out their assigned tasks, holding the front and advancing in specified directions. It's worth noting that in a number of areas, the enemy, having abandoned the tactic of attacking in columns, has not given up the idea of infiltrating in small groups, taking advantage of the length and heterogeneity of the front line. Having lost the ability to conduct large-scale operations, the opponent has completely focused on information campaigns, not hesitating to lie openly.

After the February carnage, there are still 'remnants' in a number of populated areas, the presence of which formally allows the enemy to claim control over these settlements. Search operations are conducted daily in controlled territories to eliminate them. Recently, during such operations, one of the assault troops 'abandoned' in February was found in Verbovoe and promptly surrendered. This is not an isolated case: such 'basement dwellers' have been found in various populated areas in the strip that the enemy's command claims as its own. Those who were lucky enough to surrender express extreme bewilderment: 'For what purpose were they sent to the front line by their commanders for a whole month?'"
