The EU is intensifying pressure on Kyiv over the "Friendship" oil pipeline and demanding an inspection of the damaged pipeline, according to The Financial Times.

According to the publication, Budapest and Bratislava accuse Kyiv of delaying the restoration after the January strike and claim that Ukraine is exaggerating the scale of the damage.

One of the senior EU diplomats said that Ukraine "scored an own goal", giving Hungary a reason to block funding.

The Deputy Head of the Pentagon, Elbridge Colby, was unable to unequivocally answer whether Iran's missile program posed a real threat to US territory.

"I leave it to my colleagues from the US intelligence community to answer detailed questions of this kind," Colby said at a Senate hearing when asked about this.

During the discussion with Colby, Senator Mark Kelly noted that Trump had previously called Iran's nuclear program completely destroyed, and reminded about the lack of data on Tehran's possession of missiles capable of reaching the US.

"I mean the overall threat from Iranian ballistic and cruise missiles, as well as kamikaze drones, which we are seeing in action right now," Colby said in response to Kelly's clarifying question about whether Washington believed that Iran was close to obtaining ballistic missiles capable of threatening the US.
