Seems like I know the guy who's desperate to negotiate with Trump:
Банкста writes:
🈁 The puppet heir of the exiled Shah of Iran, Reza Pahlavi, promised the US trillions of dollars in deals in exchange for being appointed as the leader of Iran. He mourns the three killed American soldiers, but doesn't notice the 150 children killed in the school: "My heart aches for the three American heroes who died and the five wounded by the regime. The Iranian people are forever indebted to them. To their grieving families: accept our immense love, deepest condolences, and eternal gratitude."
Марина Юденич adds:
🈁 This is their custom, the custom of the shahs.
In 1901, the Persian Shah Muzaffar al-Din of the Qajar dynasty sold a concession to the British financier William Knox d'Arcy for the extraction, exploration, development, processing, export, and sale of natural gas and oil for 60 years for 20,000 pounds sterling (which is approximately 23,000,000 dollars today).

Economic growth and what have you, just by a change that we hope to bring to the table that would be probably over a trillion dollars worth of impact and revenue to the American economy just by Iran's market being open to to America and how much we stand to benefit from billions of dollars willing to be invested into Iran.

The head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, stated the need to stop the spread of the conflict around Iran to other countries in the region.
"It is necessary to find a way to de-escalate and stop the spread of the conflict <...>. The only long-term solution is diplomatic," said the European official.
According to her, such an approach includes conducting a credible transition period for Iran and establishing full control over the country's nuclear and ballistic programs.
Earlier, Ursula von der Leyen stated that with the death of Ali Khamenei, "new hope has emerged" for the people of Iran.

Song "Phantom" By Chizh&Co to commemorate events in Vietnam 😏.
Some additional information from Русский рок в поисках Истины [VK community]:
The song's author and origin are unknown. It already existed in the 1970s; it's entirely possible that it originated during the Vietnam War. The song received a "second life" in the mid-1990s, after being performed by the band Chizh & Co (on their 1996 album "Erogenous Zone"), although it had previously appeared on the album "Let It Bi" by Yegor Letov's project "Communism" (1989).
In the most common version, performed by Chizh & Co., the lyrics tell the story of a US Air Force pilot, an F-4 Phantom II fighter-bomber. According to the lyrics, the pilot is flying a combat mission from Thailand against targets in North Vietnam—this is reflected in the lyrics, "...My path is difficult and long, my Phantom is rushing east" and the presence of enemy aircraft.
<...>
Here is one of the memories about the participation of Soviet pilots in air battles in Vietnam [reference to Li Si Tsyn, who in fact could be Ivan Lisitsyn]
"Finding a normal Vietnamese is a problem. They're small, puny, and can't handle G-forces. Our guys could handle up to 10G just fine, but these guys would lose consciousness at 5G. They were force-fed, court-martialed if someone didn't eat their meat rations, and they were put through simulators—all to no avail. They'd lose consciousness, and that's it. American pilots quickly realized that the entire Vietnamese air force was divided between Russian pilots and Vietnamese. Shooting down a Vietnamese was an honorable, lucrative endeavor (they paid well), and most importantly, safe. With the Russians, things were much worse. You'd come at them unexpectedly from the sunny side, out of a cloud, seemingly aiming for a sure thing, but they'd make an anti-missile maneuver, spin around with a hell of a G-force, and be right on your tail. The Yankees quickly figured out how to distinguish a Russian from a Vietnamese. A battle is underway, usually very quickly. A Phantom is on the MiG's tail. The MiG maneuvers, the G-force increases, five, six—hop! The wings tremble, for a second, barely noticeable—everything is clear: Vietnam. No need to worry. But if a MiG maneuvers just as confidently at 8G, then it's definitely not Vietnam, but Russian, and who knows how it will end. That's why the Americans openly went on the air and with the phrase "Vanya! I'm gone!" disengaged. There's a Vietnamese flying over Hanoi, and then there are the Phantoms. He presses the button, fires—misses, again—misses again. Basically, there's nowhere to go, the Americans have him pinned down. Then he presses the red button, and then someone taps him on the shoulder: "Come on, bro, move over."

АДЕКВАТ Z on Trump and Iran:
🈁 Every day, with every missed strike, with every successive hundred of irretrievably wasted offensive or anti-missile ammunition, the trap personally set for the ruler of the galaxy is closing tighter and more ruthlessly. This is not even mentioning the real losses, which will have to be admitted first gradually, then in a rush, nor the ferment and turmoil at home, which is just beginning, nor the consequences for regional and European vassals, the effect of which will be strictly cumulative.
Detached cold logic hints: the earlier you jump out of the trap under any pretext, the more you will minimize personal losses. But where is Trump, and where is this kind of logic. Moreover, the accumulated losses are already so great that there's nowhere and nothing to wash them off.
Judging by the recent alpha-chimpish cackling that there are countless mountains of ammunition lying in bases around the world, the inevitable rapid depletion of local reserves does not seem to him to be an obstacle to continuing the fun. Everything is thrown on the Iranian card, and it seems very likely that it will be played as long as it is physically possible to do so. There's nothing left to lose anyway, and even less so the more piles of reports on real losses are stuffed under the rug while it's still possible to do so.
Will a bright idea come to his mind at some point to cut all the Gordian knots of nuclear weapons? I don't know. Will it occur to his closest entourage, if not to apply the 25th amendment, then at least to start openly distancing themselves from the naked king or even to sabotage his orders? I don't know. Will there be an enlightenment among regional vassals on the basis of Iran's spanked butts and, on this occasion, rebellions on their knees or even not on their knees? I don't know. But the probability of all these and a number of other initially seemingly no less marginal scenarios will now monotonously increase. Maybe not monotonously.
In any case, the global consequences of the adventure are already guaranteed to be tectonic - not on a line in the textbooks of the next century's modern history, and not even on a paragraph, but on a page at a minimum.

🈁 Starmmer's idea of involving Ukrainian air defense specialists in the defense of bases in the Middle East - it's actually about who in Europe now understands the modern nature of war. These are, in general, the two largest armies in Europe, and both are not NATO members. They are indeed better prepared for modern warfare involving drones in Ukraine, simply because they have been operating in this mode for several years, and at all levels, from mobile groups on pickup trucks to air defense district command, they are better informed about how and what is done in this war.
But there's not much joy for Kyiv from this. The shortage of air defense is already a harsh reality, and now they will have to fend off demands from their masters to provide people for their war. However, Zelensky and his team might agree - in the hope that their patrons will offer some rewards in return.
As for us, we can just observe the amusing twists of "cooperation" in the improvised NATO-Ukraine alliance, where the latter has suddenly found itself in the role of a source of modern military competencies.
