"Israel and the USA continue to use this myth": Iran has not created a nuclear bomb, and this is not part of its plans, said the deputy chairman of the upper house of the Russian parliament, Konstantin Kosachev.

"Iran has not created a nuclear bomb, as this was not and is not part of its plans. And both Israel and the USA continue to use this myth to shamelessly interfere in Iran's internal affairs, starting from nurturing and encouraging foreign opposition and ending with countless military aggressions," he noted.

Kosachev stressed that it was the USA that destroyed the so-called "nuclear deal" on Iran, approved by a UN Security Council resolution. And also, that last year, on the night of June 22, the USA, together with the Israelis, bombed Iranian nuclear facilities, which the IAEA has repeatedly certified as complying with the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons.

"The path of bombings is a path to nowhere, or rather — to hell. Iran, as a sovereign state, which undoubtedly complies with all its obligations both under international agreements and to its own citizens, has every right to respond. Both militarily, politically, and economically," wrote the deputy chairman of the upper house of the Russian parliament.
