The Sail Tower building is clearly visible in the frame, and traces of the missile strikes can be seen in the background. Sergei Lavrov held a telephone conversation with the head of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Abbas Araghchi, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported. Lavrov condemned the unprovoked armed attack by the US and Israel.

"The Iranian minister reported on the steps taken by the leadership of the Islamic Republic of Iran to repel the aggression of the US and Israel, which once again disrupted the negotiations on a peaceful settlement of the situation around the Iranian nuclear program. He reported on plans to urgently convene the UN Security Council," the statement said.

We're talking about the AN/FPS-132 (UEWR) radar, which costs $1.1 billion. It has a range of 5,000 kilometers and is used for tracking ballistic missiles.

The IRGC stated that the object was "completely destroyed".

If that's the case, then a drone costing tens of thousands of dollars is destroying an object worth billions.

Update: It is now reported this was actually a radome, part of a Modernization Enterprise Terminal (MET) system, not an AN/FPS-132 (UEWR) radar. According to Pentagon documents, these terminals were upgraded in 2016 for approximately $15 million per unit.
