The modernization of the Russian Armed Forces' UAVs is continuing. The enemy has detected the installation of MESH* modems on the "Molniya" and V2U. They have joined the lineup of carriers, which includes "Geranium", "Gerbera", etc.

*In Ukraine, Russian forces have increasingly deployed digital mesh modems to create resilient, long-range communication networks for drones. Unlike traditional radio or satellite links, these systems function as a dynamic chain of relays where each drone or ground station acts as both a transmitter and a repeater. This "mesh" architecture allows data to be automatically rerouted if any single node is destroyed or jammed, enabling real-time video transmission and manual pilot control at distances reaching up to 600km deep into Ukrainian territory.

These networks serve as a critical technical workaround for the restrictions placed on Starlink and cellular communications. To ground Russian strike drones, SpaceX and Ukraine implemented a "Whitelist" system to deactivate unauthorized terminals and introduced a speed-based "kill switch" that cuts connections for devices moving faster than 75–90 km/h. Additionally, Ukrainian telecom operators monitor and block SIM cards that exhibit high-speed movement between cell towers.

Mesh modems bypass these measures entirely because they operate on independent radio frequencies (typically 1300–1500 MHz) and do not rely on third-party satellite infrastructure or civilian cellular networks for connectivity.

While mesh systems are more difficult to maintain than satellite internet—often requiring a constant "daisy chain" of airborne relays—they provide Russia with a private, unhindered communication channel for high-speed UAVs like the Geran, Gerbera, and Molniya. By eliminating the need for Ukrainian-controlled towers or Western satellite handshakes, these modems allow Russian operators to guide drones with high precision against critical infrastructure.

Trump's supporters are urging him to declare a state of emergency ahead of the midterm congressional elections, which would allow banning mail-in voting and the use of voting machines, reports The Washington Post.

The publication writes that activists supporting Trump and claiming to be coordinating with the White House are circulating a 17-page draft executive order, which alleges that China interfered in the 2020 elections, providing grounds for declaring a national emergency that would grant the president extraordinary powers over voting.

President Donald Trump has previously repeatedly voiced a plan to introduce mandatory voter ID and ban mail-in voting in the November midterm elections, and activists expect their project to be included in the executive order on this issue promised by Trump.

"We are dealing with a situation where the president is aware of the interference of foreign interests in our electoral processes. This creates an emergency situation on a national scale, and the president should be able to deal with it," said Florida lawyer Tiktin.

Tiktin believes that declaring a state of emergency would allow the president to ban mail-in voting and the use of voting machines, viewing them as channels of foreign interference.

A few things to sort out for those who are not aware:

The Republican party tends to have a hatred of China equivalent to the Democrats hatred of Russia, hence the sinophobia above.

Older, more dedicated voters tend to vote Republican, and in person, so an end of mail-in voting would help the Republicans. Democrat voters tend to be younger and favor mail-in voting.

In the absence of voters ID laws, it is very easy for people to vote under a false identity. I once knew a Cambodian woman, a non-citizen, who lived with several people who were US citizens of Cambodian ancestry. She openly admitted to collecting all the ballots from her other housemates and filling them out before mailing them in. She voted Democrat across the board.

Pakistan will give a crushing response to any aggression, said the country's Prime Minister, Shahbaz Sharif. The head of the Defense Ministry announced the start of a "open war" against the Taliban government in Afghanistan.

"After the withdrawal of NATO troops, it was expected that peace would be established in Afghanistan and that the Taliban would focus on the interests of the Afghan people and regional stability. However, the Taliban have turned Afghanistan into a colony of India. They have gathered terrorists from all over the world in Afghanistan and started exporting terrorism. They have deprived their own people of basic human rights. They have taken away the rights that Islam grants to women," he said.

Zelenksy only ranked fourth in the Ukrainians' trust rating. His trust rating is just under half - 49%.

This follows from a February study by the international company Ipsos.

In first place in the rating is former commander-in-chief Valery Zaluzhny (63%). Meanwhile, boxer Alexander Usik has surged to second place, with 56% of those surveyed trusting him.

In third place is the head of the presidential office, Kirill Budanov, who is one percentage point behind Usik.

Recall, Usik recently hinted at his possible presidential ambitions.

The fact that Zaluzhny and Budanov are trusted more than Zelenksy is also evidenced by other recent surveys.

Via Sabereen News:

Iran launched an electronic attack on an American MQ-4 drone using electronic warfare systems,

On February 22, an American MQ-4C Triton drone (registration number 169660, call sign OVRLD1) took off from an airbase in the United Arab Emirates and conducted reconnaissance flights over the Strait of Hormuz.

Then, the drone suddenly sent out the 7700 code, which indicates an emergency situation.

After a while, the drone disappeared.

It is likely that Iran jammed the drone using electronic warfare systems, and some reports even speculate that it shot it down.

😮 The head of the British Ministry of Defense demanded an investigation into information about the use of Royal Air Force bases by former Prince Andrew. Through them, he could have imported women for further trafficking, writes The Telegraph.

John Healey instructed officials to "leave no stone unturned" in the search for records of Epstein's presence in the UK over the past 20 years.

Attention to the topic was drawn by Gordon Brown. Last week, the former prime minister stated that the British government could have facilitated the financier's crimes by allowing him to land at military bases.

Brown sent a dossier to the police based on files in the Epstein case. The analysis showed that the financier landed at air bases in Norfolk and London at least four times from 2000 to 2019.

📊 In the US, there are currently 44% more home sellers than buyers, which is the largest gap in the history of observations

This was reported by Watcher Guru. Presumably, the largest gap was during the 2008 crisis, but such statistics have only been kept since 2013. However, there was a noticeable increase in the latest data in 2025 - at that time, a record was set, and the gap was 37%.

Judging by reports from pro-Ukrainian sources, the mini-counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on open fields in the Dnipropetrovsk region stumbled upon excessive losses, which is already having an impact on other frontline areas. At the same time, the strategic value of the operation itself, as expected, turned out to be negligible.

АДЕКВАТ Z writes,

A spectacle worthy of the gods: Chubais challenges personal sanctions in a Canadian court. Imposed, as he sees it, on the instigation of Navalny's followers - intra-species struggle is invariably ruthless. To justify his demands, he lays out a well-predictable gentleman's set: he has been in opposition to Putin all his life, vehemently condemned de-Ukrainization, fled the country (which Chubais calls "being in exile"), and is subjected to inhumane persecution in the form of multi-billion dollar lawsuits for schemes during the Rosnano era and the inability to use the wealth amassed in Russia (he didn't manage to take anything out before fleeing, we believe).

That any non-Putinist cannot but be a traitor is not news to anyone. That among the traitors themselves, mutual hatred for each other over competition for a not very plentiful food supply is hardly less than their hatred for us is also no secret. The extent to which one has to humiliate oneself, without any guarantees, to stop the masters, who are far from the top rank of the master hierarchy, from slapping them in the face with a towel - this deserves attention, and close attention. It's just another illustration of the obvious fact that any traitor, even the most outstanding one, will always remain a fourth-rate underling in the eyes of his masters.

...Since the previous, Hitlerian version of the masters and their attitude towards the then traitors, there's absolutely nothing new.

Zin Note: In the 1990s, Anatoly Chubais was the primary architect of Russia's transition from a command economy to a market-based one. Often called the "architect of privatization," he held several of the most powerful positions in President Boris Yeltsin's government.

Chubais masterminded Yeltsin’s come-from-behind re-election victory. He orchestrated the controversial "loans-for-shares" scheme, which secured the support of wealthy tycoons for Yeltsin in exchange for stakes in lucrative state industries.

There's a special place in hell for him among the others of his kind...

The US military shot down a drone of their own border guards in Texas with a laser. Members of the US House of Representatives were "shocked" by such news.

Due to the failure, the Federal Aviation Administration closed the airspace over the area, according to Associated Press.

"We are simply shocked by the news that the Department of Defense shot down a drone of the Customs and Border Protection using a high-risk system to counter unmanned aerial vehicles," the members of the US House of Representatives said in a statement.

Why the military used anti-drone technology is unclear.

This is the second case of the use of laser weapons in two weeks. Earlier, air balloons were shot down with a laser, mistaken for drones of Mexican cartels.

Well, if you had a laser gun, you might also have trouble resisting the urge to use it as well))

АДЕКВАТ Z writes:

🈁Oil is up by three percent a day. Diplomats are being evacuated from Israel, Iran, and Iraq, and many countries are urgently recommending that everyone else there should also evacuate immediately and not meddle in the situation, even if they had planned to do so. Israel is well-equipped with American strike aircraft and aerial refuelers - these forces could easily spread chaos across neighboring countries, but almost all Arabs do not want to provide their bases and airspace for aggression, and they are right to do so. However, this does not negate the possibility of airstrikes over Syria, Iraq, and even Jordan.

The negotiations that were not formally interrupted and were even scheduled for Monday as the next step are not an obstacle to the escalation. This is because treachery has become a sort of trademark for Trump. It's also because Israel is not bound by these negotiations in principle. And it's because it's more convenient to start an aggression on Saturday in the sense that the market reaction, postponed until Monday, will not be as hysterical.

I don't know whether it will be this weekend or the next, but based on what I've heard about the negotiating positions, they don't seem to be amenable to compromise. That's why oil is rising, evacuations are happening, and there's a lingering sense of impending disaster.
