Military Chronicle:

"Geraniums" Turned into FPV Drone Carriers

For the first time, such a drone was allegedly spotted during an attack on Sumy. Using the "Geranium" as a transport and launch vehicle allows for a significant increase in the operational range of FPV drones, negating their key limitation—short range and dependence on ground-based operator positions.

This configuration, already tested on "Molniya" drones and a number of other UAVs, potentially complicates the work of air defense, since even if some of the carriers are detected and destroyed, the likelihood remains that FPV platforms could be released in the immediate vicinity of protected objects.

Furthermore, the use of the "Geranium-2" in this role indicates an attempt to expand its functionality from a disposable loitering munition to a multi-functional platform capable of performing delivery, reconnaissance, and distributed strike tasks, which can often be organized simultaneously.

This evolution aligns with the general trend toward distributed unmanned systems, where the carrier functions to increase range and ensure surprise, while the actual destruction of the target is carried out by more compact and cheaper means.

Thus, the integration of FPV drones into the architecture of long-range UAV operations reflects the search for ways to increase the effectiveness of overcoming layered air defense by increasing the number of final strike elements and complicating the structure of the attack in the final segment of flight.

Zelenksy is ready to discuss the withdrawal of Ukrainian troops from the Donetsk region, but called on Moscow to withdraw its troops to an equivalent distance, writes Axios.

American mediators have proposed that Ukrainian troops withdraw from the areas of Donbass they control and allow this territory to become a demilitarized "free economic zone." However, as Zelenksy stated, Washington has not yet decided which country will have sovereignty over this territory.

Zelenksy said that after the second round of negotiations in Abu Dhabi, Russian officials promised to consult with Moscow and return with a detailed position on the territorial issue.

Zelenksy also said that Washington and Kyiv have agreed that any agreement should be put to a referendum for the Ukrainian people.

However, Zelenksy believes that if this deal "simply involves the withdrawal of Ukrainian troops from Donbass," it will be rejected in a referendum.

"Emotionally, people will never forgive this. Never. They won't forgive... me, they won't forgive the USA," said Zelenksy.

It was likely on this issue where negotiations became "stuck," as it were. This issue has been discussed in the media forever, it seems. Everyone should have saved themselves the trip.

Everyone is rushing to interpret the recent statement by Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, in which he declared that the world must eliminate its nuclear weapons before they eliminate us. While this could simply be diplomatic rhetoric aimed at reshaping Iran's image during negotiations with the US, the statement has nevertheless left many perplexed—particularly those who firmly believe Iran should be doing everything in its power to acquire nuclear weapons.

The US refused to allow Kiev to produce Patriot missiles in Europe, said Zelensky.

He added that Ukraine had allegedly proposed to start production on its territory years ago, as well as jointly with Romania, Poland, and other NATO partners in the region.

Zin Note: Only about 700 Patriot missiles are produced annually. They hope to increase the number to 2000 or so by 2028.

Read Larry Johnson's latest article, which he mentioned on our stream yesterday:

The Big Lie About Iran’s Support for Terrorism

Intro:

US policymakers, particularly under the current Trump administration (as of February 2026), consistently describe Iran as the world’s leading or foremost state sponsor of terrorism. This characterization has been a cornerstone of U.S. policy toward Iran for decades, with Iran designated as a State Sponsor of Terrorism by the U.S. State Department since January 19, 1984—the longest-standing designation on the current list (which also includes Cuba, North Korea, and Syria).

But what does the data actually show?

Sweden arrested a Russian accused of evading sanctions at the request of the USA

"The case concerns an international arrest warrant. Since the security service is assisting another state in the investigation of a crime, we cannot go into details," said the press secretary of the Swedish security service, Jonathan Svensson.

The Russian citizen is suspected of evading US sanctions between 2022 and 2023. Last summer, an American court issued an arrest warrant for him in absentia, after which the man was put on the international wanted list. In late December, he was detained in Sweden. The Stockholm District Court ordered his detention pending a decision on extradition, which should be made by the Attorney General, the Supreme Court, and the country's government.

Abduction of Russian citizens still continues. OK, I understand what Sweden and even the US are guided with. But what was the Russian citizen thinking?

The Kyiv regime deliberately carries out terrorist attacks where "children might be affected," Maria Zakharova stated.

"This includes committing terrorist acts by planting these 'Lepeostok' mines, using drones, repeatedly returning to the crime scenes, namely kindergartens, schools, hospitals, playgrounds, markets, and so on," the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry emphasized.

Other statements by Maria Zakharova on Sputnik radio:

🔜 Everything that can be done to disrupt negotiations is being used to prevent a peace process in Ukraine from taking place;

🔜 Any step that could lead to a resolution of the situation is of great importance;

🔜 Russia has repeatedly proven that it wants peace, while "on the other side," they have repeatedly stated under various pretexts that negotiations are unnecessary.

"If we understand that we all really want peace, and Russia has proven this many times, and we understand that on the other side, the one who does not want peace is constantly stating that negotiations are unnecessary under various pretexts <...> Do we really have the right not to value the opportunities for negotiations that exist?" the diplomat said.

More details about Ukraine's dissatisfaction with negotiations with Medinsky: Zelensky says "we don't have time for all this nonsense"

Axios writes that, given the change in leadership, Zelensky fears that the Russian delegation will try to turn the negotiations into a meeting or return to the starting point in order to buy time for Russia on the battlefield.
He notes that, like Putin, Medinsky likes to philosophize about the "historical roots" of the war. "We don't have time for all this nonsense. Therefore, we must make a decision and end the war," said Zelensky.

⚡️The negotiations on Ukraine in Geneva have concluded, having lasted just over an hour today

The negotiations were difficult, but businesslike, Medinsky stated, adding that a new round will take place soon.

The European Union is putting pressure on Ukraine to speed up the repair of the "Druzhba" oil pipeline, through which Russian oil is supplied to Hungary and Slovakia. This was reported by "Radio Liberty."

The European Commission confirmed that it is in constant contact with the Ukrainian authorities and is striving for the earliest possible restoration of supplies following the damage to the pipeline in late January.

However, Brussels argues that there are no short-term risks to the energy security of Hungary and Slovakia, as the countries have strategic oil reserves.

Amid the suspension of pumping, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico accused Kyiv of delaying the process and called the situation "political blackmail." Earlier in Ukraine, it was stated that the damage occurred as a result of a drone strike.

Ukrainian media:

People's deputies are not voting for IMF bills because they are being massively summoned for interrogations by NABU, said People's Deputy Vasilevska-Smaglyuk (Servant of the People).

According to her, about 50 more people's deputies have been summoned for interrogations as witnesses.

"People's deputies in some cases do not vote for these obligations that the government has taken on. One of the reasons that deputies declare is because they are under pressure, including from NABU. And this was discussed in our faction, saying, please tell NABU to stop summoning us for interrogations. I heard that another 50 people have been summoned for interrogations as witnesses in one case. And also because we are politically significant figures for life, and we are subjected to financial monitoring. We suffer, we are under pressure, so we do not vote for this unpopular thing until the pressure on us decreases," said Vasilevska-Smaglyuk.

For now, the IMF has postponed the requirements to raise taxes for Ukrainians, but has not canceled them.

Maybe they are hoping the IMF will put pressure on the anti-corruption agencies so that they will ignore the politicians' secret deals...

The former commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Zaluzhny, spoke about the rift between him and Zelensky.

The main points from his AP interview:

👱‍♀️The Ukrainian counteroffensive in 2023 failed because Zelensky and other officials in Ukraine did not allocate the necessary resources;

👱‍♀️Zaluzhny has not been involved in military decision-making since Zelensky forced him to resign, the agency reports;

👱‍♀️He will not run for president until the conflict in Ukraine ends. He avoids discussing politics, fearing "stirring up discord among Ukrainians";

👱‍♀️A "fairly well-known American political consultant" allegedly approached the former commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the spring of 2025. It was Paul Manafort, who led Trump's election campaign in 2016. According to Zaluzhny, he told him that he did not need his services;

The former commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Zaluzhny, spoke about the rift between him and Zelensky. The main points from his AP interview: 👱‍♀️The Ukrainian counteroffensive in 2023 failed because Zelensky and other officials in Ukraine…
Zaluzhny in an AP interview spoke about the "deep rift" between him and Zelensky, which reached its peak during the SBU searches in 2022.

According to the former commander-in-chief, since the beginning of the war, he and the president have constantly argued about how best to defend the country, and then in mid-September 2022, the SBU came to his office with searches on a trumped-up pretext.

He recounts that dozens of security officers came to his office after a meeting with Zelensky, when more than a dozen British officers were present. The SBU officers did not say what exactly they were looking for.

Zaluzhny prevented them from searching his documents and computers and immediately called the then head of the Presidential Office: "I told Ermak that I would repel this attack, because I know how to fight."

Then Zaluzhny called Malyuk, who said he knew nothing about the raid and promised to investigate.

Later, he learned that the SBU had obtained a search warrant for a strip club that was located at this address before the war. Zaluzhny believes that this was a trumped-up pretext, not a mistake.

Military Chronicle:

Both the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the Russian Federation have started actively using modular ground-based robotic platforms. They are increasingly mirroring the evolution of unmanned aerial vehicles, beginning to be used not only as standalone tools but also as carriers of FPV drones.

This reflects the transition to a distributed application architecture aimed at increasing the range of action and reducing the vulnerability of operator positions.

In such a configuration, the ground platform serves as an advanced relay and control node, ensuring stable communication between the operator and the FPV drone at a greater depth. Placing the relay or control unit directly on the robot allows for increasing the range of FPV drone application by an additional 5–10 kilometers by bringing the control point closer to the target area.

The ground carrier in a way becomes an element of the "long arm" system for drones, ensuring the expansion of the strike zone without the need for operator movement. This enhances the stability of FPV drone application and expands their combat capabilities.

АДЕКВАТ Z on talk in Geneva:

🈁Geneva ended exactly as it was bound to end. The characterization "tough but businesslike" after the last meeting not lasting even two hours clearly shows that not only did they not reach an agreement, but there was no chance of reaching an agreement given the initial positions. And Medinsky's words that they will continue soon don't change much here - they can continue tomorrow, but it won't change either our position or the likelihood that the Ukrainians will accept it. Continuing the talks in itself doesn't hinder anything, but the effect will be the same.

It's hard to imagine how Agent Donald, who is already running out of time, is going to deal with this. He hasn't been ready to kick the Ukrainians hard enough to make them collapse for the past six months, and he's unlikely to be ready now. Most likely, he'll continue to puff up his cheeks and mutter about the excellent work done and the inevitability of a powerful deal soon. Because the hands - on either side - are tied tighter than it might seem.

So the ball is in our soldier's court. And indirectly - in the court of all the rotten processes that continue to develop on the farmstead, and we will continue to contribute to their development as much as we can.

❗️Hungary has stopped supplying diesel fuel to Ukraine, announced the country's Foreign Minister, Szijjártó.

They will not resume until the supply of oil through the "Druzhba" pipeline begins.

Slovakia may suspend electricity supplies to Ukraine for the same reason, stated Fico.

АДЕКВАТ Z comments:

There are times in life when you don't hurry at first, but then you praise yourself for not having rushed.

Since the end of January, the Khokhols have been demonstratively and habitually rubbing their noses in the Hungarians and Slovaks - first they shut down the "Friendship" oil pipeline for so-called repairs, then the repairs supposedly ended, but they refused to restart it. Not particularly hiding the fact that they are trying to put their enemies in a difficult situation, including in the run-up to the upcoming and fateful Hungarian elections.

Since the morning, I wanted - and something stopped me - to comment on this topic in the sense that there can be no other reaction than to shut off all valves and switches on their side, but it's very difficult to imagine such a step (which neither the Hungarians nor the Slovaks have dared to take in four years), because despite all the dislike for this Khokhol, their sovereignty is not absolute. And just now, Hungary and Slovakia almost simultaneously announced that until the situation is resolved, the Khokhols will get nothing but a cold shoulder instead of exporting oil products. And if that's not enough, the export of electricity, without which the situation in the Khokhol would be much worse with regard to electricity, is next on the agenda.

And the Slovaks and Hungarians are eagles, because given their relations with the Euroscum, it took a lot of courage to make this decision. And for our part, when planning the next strike, we should pay attention to those energy hubs in the Western Ukraine that process imports. Including from this "traitor" country.

As our friend said "Our Gulash elephants". I completely agree.
