Judging by the footage of Russian UAV operators from the "Irishmen" unit, the AFU command continues to deploy self-propelled artillery in the area of Pokrovsk and Mirnograd, trying to complicate the situation for the "Center" grouping.

The self-propelled artillery is being deployed in small batches, probably to reduce the risk of detection and maintain the element of surprise.

The loss of each installation is sensitive for the AFU, however, judging by the nature of the actions, the task of keeping Russian units within the Pokrovsk area is of priority importance, and Syrsky still does not care about the losses.

After establishing control over Pokrovsk itself, Russian units, according to available data, are engaged in regrouping: they are replenishing ammunition, repairing damaged equipment, and deploying command posts on new positions. After the completion of these activities, we can expect a continuation of the advance in the western direction.

The flagship of the strike group - the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln was captured by the Sentinel-2 satellite on February 15, 2026.

At the time the photo was taken, the aircraft carrier was located approximately 300 km east of the coast of Oman and 700 km south of Iran. This is a safe distance, allowing to maintain operational flexibility and at the same time stay outside the zone of direct impact of most coastal anti-ship systems.

Such a safe distance is typical for the waiting or preparation stage. At the same time, the aircraft carrier can quickly move either closer to the Strait of Hormuz, so that the deck-based aviation can start operating, or stay at a distance, serving as a reserve for the second strike group "Gerald Ford."

A German icebreaker, sent to rescue a stranded LNG tanker, broke down and got stuck in the thick Arctic ice, NDR reports.

According to the publication, if the ship is not helped, it will have to spend the winter in the Arctic zone.

The activity of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Zaporozhye direction, it seems, is gradually reaching its zenith. The Ukrainian side directly calls the ongoing events a counteroffensive, although the current actions clearly fall short of the scale of the 2023 campaign.

Judging by the nature of the means used, it is clear that Russian troops were preparing for such events. In particular, "Lancets" with a target auto-acquisition system (artificial intelligence) are actively used in the direction, and their number allows them to operate on equipment for a long time and in large volumes.

However, there are also restraining factors. Restrictions in the operation of Starlink have significantly complicated the use of UAVs "Molniya" and BM-35. As a result, strikes on the reserves and rear of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are not carried out in the same volumes as they could be with stable satellite communication.

Interestingly, similar activity is going on with the Armed Forces of Ukraine in other directions, in particular, in Pokrovsk, which once again confirms the guesses about the need for Syrsky to achieve any success at any cost in any of the sectors.

The Israeli Prime Minister stated that he would only agree to a deal with Iran if three conditions are met.

According to him, Tehran must completely remove all uranium and dismantle all its uranium enrichment facilities.
