Finally! The US Department of Energy has officially, not in words, not by hints, but in figures, acknowledged the peak of oil production in the US has been passed. Oil production in the US will decline. Photo fact: it's very beautiful!

This event has long been predictable. It's a well-known event. It's a topic of discussion in the White House. It's an event that OPEC+ has already responded to. Now, a couple of years after it became obvious to all insiders, the fact of the peak of oil production in the US has finally been made public.

By the way, where is the sensational article from Bloomberg? After all, objectivity implies not only praise for the uniqueness of shale, but also acknowledging failures. Right?

The main question, which has been discussed for several months, is the speed of the collapse of shale production. There were several working scenarios:

🔸 Production will reach a plateau and with the help of various tricks, it will stay there for some time, and in a few years, the decline will begin.

🔸 No tricks will help to stop the rapid decline, everything will fall by tens of percent: poisonous proppants, pressure like in a black hole, and kilometers of horizontal wells - they won't help, the oil is gone.

🔸 The US Department of Energy chose the third option: a moderate decline in oil production in the US at a rate of -2% per year. Not abruptly, but quickly.

So, in the coming years, the pressure of shale oil on the global market will begin to decline, and the US will return to its old proven methods of being a net oil exporter. At first, they will cover the oil deficit at the expense of Venezuela, and then the Arabs will start returning to the American market.

The US Department of Energy's forecast is important: it gives an answer to what the US is doing in Venezuela, why Trump suddenly dislikes the Ayatollah regime in Iran, and why they need Greenland. However, all of this has long been in the open.

However, there is a question that hangs in the frosty air, still unanswered. After all, after the decline in oil production, the decline will also begin in the natural gas market. How are European countries going to survive the coming years in the face of a shrinking export of "molecules of freedom"?

President Trump told The Post that a secret new weapon he calls “The Discombobulator” was essential to the daring US raid that captured Venezuela’s drug-dealing dictator Nicolas Maduro.

Trump boasted that the mysterious weapon “made [enemy] equipment not work” when US helicopters swooped into Caracas on Jan. 3 to arrest Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, on federal drug and weapons charges — without losing a single American life.

“They never got their rockets off. They had Russian and Chinese rockets, and they never got one off. We came in, they pressed buttons and nothing worked. They were all set for us.”

Not much is known about the weapon, but those reports followed on-the-ground accounts from Venezuela describing how Maduro’s gunmen were brought to their knees, “bleeding through the nose” and vomiting blood.

One member of the deposed strongman’s team of guards recounted afterward that “suddenly all our radar systems shut down without any explanation.”

“The next thing we saw were drones, a lot of drones, flying over our positions. We didn’t know how to react,” he said, saying that helicopters then appeared — “barely eight” — carrying about 20 US troops into the area.

“The Discombobulator” then was aimed directly at Maduro’s defenders.

“At one point, they launched something; I don’t know how to describe it. It was like a very intense sound wave. Suddenly I felt like my head was exploding from the inside,” the witness said.

“We all started bleeding from the nose. Some were vomiting blood. We fell to the ground, unable to move. We couldn’t even stand up after that sonic weapon — or whatever it was.”

While Trump has been bragging about the attack on Maduro, the jamming and hacking of the single outdated S300 system and a few Pechora systems that were operated by untrained soldiers completely unprepared for this sort of attack is nothing special. The EA-18G Growlers that performed this task along with the cyber-attack that occurred simultaneously is nothing out of the ordinary. These sort of jamming/cyber attacks are what Russian forces fend off in Ukraine on the regular.

However, this new "Discombobulator" seems like a war crime of some sort. It isn't something I'd go around bragging about. The US government claimed that it had obtained a sonic weapon that back in 2024 that could have caused the famous case of "Havana Syndrome." To me, it seems likely that it was an inside job if this is where the tech is at now.

Donald Trump threatens Canada with 100% tariffs if it concludes a trade agreement with China. He called Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney a "Governor Carney."

Following Carney's recent visit to China, the countries agreed that Canada would ease tariffs on Chinese electric cars, which it introduced together with the US in 2024. In exchange, China would reduce duties on key Canadian agricultural products.

In addition, the agreement provides for Chinese investments in Canadian energy. In turn, Canada plans to invest in China's aerospace industry and high-tech manufacturing.

Trump's handling of the situation with arrests of illegal immigrants was poorly thought out and poorly executed, and all of this is a result of the fracturing of American society.

People can't afford to live and they have no future. The problems related to mass immigration needed to have been solved a long time ago, but after decades of inaction, it is now unsolveable at a time when everyone in this country is reaching for an explanation for why life is so awful, and while the culture has become fractured beyond repair. This is just one more catalyst towards a day of reckoning when this society can no longer sustain itself on the plunder of foreign nations enriching a small percentage of the population.

The Trump Administration Channels Brooks Adams (The New Empire) at Davos

The speech by Greer tells us lots about Trump.

Prior to Teddy Roosevelt, Greer's account of American System is accurate.

Teddy Roosevelt was about ending the American System of Economics and building a brutal American Empire.

The American System of Hamilton, John Q. Adams, Henry Carey, Lincoln, McKinley wasn't just about money and extracting "wealth" from the earth. It was about developing the citizenry of the nation--and neighboring nations as republics--to become capable of discoveries and inventions.

The American System was about mankind's master over nature to take what was raw and create a multiplication of real, productive wealth that would uplift people out of backward poverty.

It was anti-Imperial.

Teddy Roosevelt, was against that. His was the notion of Empire--- because the British Empire had become soft, therefore he embraced Brooks Adams "American Economic Supremacy" to dominate the world.

When Greer speaks on the end of WWII his narrative worsens further.

Franklin Roosevelt’s policy was, that never again shall the planet be dominated by an imperial power. The policy of the United States at the end of the war would be to free nations which had been colonized or semi-colonized, and to promote their development.

Furthermore, where are the policies to create "60 Million Jobs" as proposed by Henry A. Wallace?

John Maynard Keynes was a British Malthusian who was opposed to FDR's policy and instead hoped to recreate the British Empire at Bretton Woods.

Greer, Trump, Bessent all get that wrong.

The fictions of Keynesian "Balance of trade" was anathema to the American idea that our interest lay in the rapid industrialization and development of other nations. That is why America sponsored rail development in Russia, China, all of Latin America.

Where Franklin Roosevelt saw "Peace through economic development," developing power generation like the TVA in every other country, food self-sufficiency in Latin America, Asia, Africa and beyond (and FDR wanted to end all colonies, including American colonies)...Keynes simply represented the Malthusian policy of suppressing technological progress.

Keynes' General Theory of Economics was first published in 1938 in Berlin--because he thought it would be better received in Nazi Germany.

Greer justifies tariffs for non-economic reasons and can’t answer why manufacturing jobs decreased under Trump--every single month since he took office.

It is clear that Greer provides an academic cover to justify Trump tariffs as an American System policy, which they don’t understand, especially when it conflicts with their political ideology.

The Donroe Corollary for Latin America is the opposite of the intentions of John Q. Adams (the original author of the Monroe Doctrine) and the attack on Iran and other Zionist policies show that the advisors to Trump have failed to understand the American System.

By the way...anyone who thinks that Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent (who was a partner at Soros Fund Management) is anything like Alexander Hamilton or is "second to Alexander Hamilton" must be snorting the cocaine that is fed to Zelensky by his masters.
