You can now swap your EAN to EGON using Dex before EAN is removed from the system. Before April, EAN holders get the Egon directly into wallets. The way I understood it, the swapping of EAN to EGON in our DEX today is simply another form of bonus for the holders.
According to the announcement, the team themselves will do the 100/1 EAN-EGON swapping and will send the resulting EGON token to those holders who are listed in the snapshot taken last February.
The same thing with the 25% EAN bonus. They will swap the EAN bonus into EGON and will send the resulting EGON to those EAN holders in the list.
So holders will get 3 sets of EGON:
1. EGON from the swapping of EAN to EGON done by the users themselves in the EgonSwap DEX.
This one is based on the actual swapping value in the DEX.
2. EGON sent by the team themselves based on the 100/1 EAN-EGON swapping ratio and based on the record of holders as reflected on the snapshot.
3. EGON sent by the team based from the converted 25% EAN bonus from the EAN holders as reflected on the snapshot.

Delay of Egon Consolidation
This is to inform the Eagle Network community officially that the much anticipated Egon Consolidation has been delayed further.
Reason for The Delay?
1). Non Reading of directions and announcements, which led to several issues.
2). Greed by some users trying to game the system to acquire more tokens.
3). Constant use of DEX even after the announcement to stop fixing bugs.
4). More buying of EAN even after notice given both on mining app and telegram posts to stop.
Why Not Stop Swap System?
The system cannot be stopped as the DEX is decentralized. There is no switch to turn off a DEX. Sure the developer could have removed the swap UI, but the non-reading and ignorant users would not know why and would wrongly assume the worst.
Reading Is Most Important
The Eagle Network project has always given that reading project announcements and posts are significant to carry everyone along, but this advice is not working. Eagle Network project is still a work in progress. This means that many more steps need to be taken before arriving at EgonCoin Blockchain. More steps by the core team to innovate, make better, improve, and work on progress step by step. More steps by users, holders, supporters to follow the project and keep up to date with the latest details. You might not see the progress achieved so far, but really we are making headway.
