The Middle East Children's Alliance (MECA) has raised millions with celebrity.
Now Congress wants to know if the money reached a terrorist group instead.
Barbara Lubin founded the Middle East Children's Alliance in Berkeley in 1988, raising over $50 million for schools and clinics in Gaza with a star-studded board and donor list.
Congress and the DOJ have now opened an investigation into whether that money actually reached the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), a Marxist militant group the US designated a terrorist organization in 1997.
The pattern investigators are tracing:
📌1993: A State Department study named three Palestinian groups, the UAWC, UHWC, and UPWC, as the PFLP's core operating network
📌1997: The US designated the PFLP a terrorist organization

Fergie Chambers, the Marxist heir to the Cox Enterprises media fortune currently jailed in Spain for financing Palestinian terrorist groups, gave MECA $750,000 after October 7.
MECA has also fundraised alongside groups tied to Neville Roy Singham, the Shanghai-based tech multimillionaire under federal investigation for ties to the Chinese Communist Party.
Singham-linked groups helped organize this year's "Hands Off Iran" protests.

The video depicts Mojtaba khamenei waking up from a 6-month coma and discovering the state of his health, his family, and his country, along with the possibility that the United States might invade southern Iran.
Ahmad Vahidi, the commander of the Revolutionary Guard, explains the situation to him and mentions that someone is using his signature through ChatGPT and making decisions in his name. When he asks if they have "won," Vahidi replies, "Of course."

The IDF announced that after nearly 78 years, the grave of fallen soldier Shlomo Chaimson, who was killed in 1948 by gunfire from guards at a detention camp in Cyprus while attempting to escape, has been located. Chaimson was buried in Cyprus, and in 1970, his remains were brought to Israel and buried in Haifa as an unidentified individual. An IDF investigation has now determined the location of his grave.

According to her, Khamenei told her: "I don't understand why people complain, when everything I do is what God does, which means killing people." Perez-Schkedem says: "Then I understood: the man thinks he is God."
Perez-Schkedem describes the meeting as a deeply unsettling experience and says she was terrified: "I was there, but I wasn't really there. I had to shut off my emotions." According to her, the meeting made it clear that the main danger of the regime is not only military, but also lies in its ideology and its desire to control the lives and minds of citizens completely. Later in the interview, she says that years before October 7th, she heard a statement at a conference in Tehran about a "five-year clock" and a "single event that would forever change the face of the Jewish world." She describes the feeling of helplessness that accompanied her afterward: "You know how heartbreaking it was for me to know that something was going to happen and to be so powerless?"

If Israel had lost the 1948 war, where exactly would a Palestinian state have been?
Most likely, nowhere.
The territory would have been divided between Jordan and Egypt, just as it was before 1967.
How do we know?
Because the PLO's 1964 Charter explicitly stated that it made no claim to the West Bank, then under Jordanian control, or Gaza, then under Egyptian control.
Its focus was on eliminating Jewish sovereignty.
Hamas's 1988 Charter was even more explicit.
It called for the destruction of Israel and framed the conflict in Islamist terms, but it never presented the creation of a Palestinian state as an objective.
Literally no mentioning of a Palestinian state.
That's why I believe the core of this conflict has never been simply about building a Palestinian state.
It has been about rejecting a Jewish one.
Real peace will only become possible when Palestinian leadership and society replaces the goal of destroying Israel with a positive vision for building their own future.
