๐จ๐พCyprus rejects Greek offer for Leopard 1A5 tanks: Israeli Merkava tanks still under consideration.
Cyprus has rejected a Greek offer to supply 75-90 Leopard 1A5 tanks, after inspections revealed that the condition of the vehicles is not suitable, even as a temporary solution.
According to reports, the Cypriots are still looking for a replacement for their aging Russian T-80 tanks, as their operation and maintenance are becoming increasingly complex due to sanctions and the difficulty of obtaining spare parts for Russian-made systems.
The preferred option for Cyprus remains the purchase of Israeli Merkava tanks, either models III or IV. However, no agreement has yet been reached on a deal, partly due to Israel's need to maintain a sufficient stock of tanks for the Israel Defense Forces.
If the deal goes through, it could mark a significant shift for Cyprus, moving away from its old Russian armored vehicles towards a Western-Israeli system, while strengthening security ties between Nicosia and Jerusalem.

๐บ๐ธ The United States is upgrading the Javelin after reducing stockpiles due to the war in Ukraine.
Kratos Defense has received a contract from the U.S. Army to develop a new infrared guidance head for the Javelin anti-tank missile system. The new component is designed to replace the outdated electronic architecture and enable continued production of the missiles.
The upgrade is taking place after a significant reduction in U.S. stockpiles due to the transfer of Javelins to Ukraine. The U.S. is increasing production of the systems, but is focusing not only on quantity, but also on preserving the unique "fire-and-forget" capabilities of the system.

๐ฌ๐ง British comedian John Cleese is once again facing criticism for his remarks on Islam. The Islamic news platform Pillars is now targeting his upcoming UK theater tour. The website labels Cleese a "prominent Islamophobe" and highlights that he will be performing in September in cities with large Muslim communities. Cleese responded with a striking warning. While he hopes people enjoy his shows, he added: "But please, no Salman Rushdie situations!"

Jewish. She was not Israeli. She was a 22 year old tourist from Germany who loved Kibbutz Nir Oz so much she stayed one extra night instead of flying home on October 7. Her last words to her mother, reportedly sent from the safe room that morning: thank you for everything you did for me, I love you.

๐บ๐ธ๐น๐ทA US terrorism-financing lawsuit is putting renewed attention on Turkey's role as a financial and organizational hub for Hamas, as evidence points to a network of charities, banks and operatives that has been allowed to function under Erdoฤan's government.

The EU is united. We stand ready to protect our external borders, support Member States facing pressure and work with our partners in times of crisis. But border management alone is not the full answer. People should have opportunities, security and a future in their own countries. Migration should also be safe, orderly, and must follow legal pathways. That is why the EU builds strong partnerships around the world. Together, we create opportunities, strengthen migration management and build stand resilient against disinformation and foreign interference. Secure borders. Strong partnerships. Opportunities at home.

FOOTAGE: Hiding from Hamas on October 7, 25-year-old Israeli Jewish social media manager Noam Shallom filmed what would become her final moments.
She was murdered by Hamas terrorists.
This was not "resistance." It was an act of terror and brutality targeting her simply because she was Jewish.
May her memory be a blessing. ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐๏ธ

A number of Hamas militants crossed into the yellow zone last night. They were identified by IDF observation posts, stole engineering equipment, and returned to the red zone without any fire being opened on them.
The soldiers requested permission to engage, but senior command refused to give the green light.
Furthermore, in the past week, there have been over 65 instances of crossings into the yellow zone in the Gaza Strip, and in all of them, no fire was opened. This is three times the number of incidents compared to the period before our soldiers were restricted.
A senior security official: "Hamas is testing us, just like before October 7th. What happened last night could have ended with a soldier being kidnapped."

๐ฎ๐ฑThe terrorists' nightmare: the crocodiles are on their way to the prison!
The court has indeed just halted the transfer of the crocodilesโnot the program itself, just their transferโbut the National Security Bureau is moving forward at full speed.
And the program? Itโs unprecedented: crocodiles in the prison compound, right next to the terrorist cells, to deter digging and escape attempts. The guards have already learned how to feed them, a specialized architect was hired to design the complex, and a shaded resting area will even be provided for them (with even better conditions than those of the terrorists).
Furthermore, the IDF has reviewed the plans and claims that, in the long run, maintaining crocodiles might actually be cheaper than the manpower required for guarding.
But what is the most remarkable part of the story? According to an internal source within the office, the terrorists are already panicking and calling Ben Gvir "Majnoon..."[Crazy]
Say what you will about Ben Gvir, but he delivers on his promises and builds things up.

Turkey has the audacity to criticize Israel. But what are the facts on the ground?
Thousands of Turkish soldiers. Dozens of military bases and outposts across Syria, Iraq and Cyprus.
While Erdoganโs military aggression knows no borders, and Turkey occupies 36% of Cyprus, 5% of Syria and 2,000 kmยฒ of Iraq.
Israel temporarily controls merely 0.1% of Syria - a buffer zone to protect its citizens from proven security threats.
