"This plan for Gaza paves the way for the next October 7th,"

Dr. Dan Diker, President of the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs, warned in an interview with GB News that the proposed 15-point plan for Gaza represents a significant departure from the original 20-point plan agreed upon by Israel and the United States. According to him, the new plan essentially allows Hamas to remain in power and store its weapons in warehouses, with the keys remaining in its hands. "This means that Hamas remains both a governing entity and a terrorist organization within Gaza, and this is a path that leads to the next October 7th," he warned.

Diker emphasized that any future agreement must include the complete removal of Hamas as a military and political force, along with a genuine process of de-radicalization in the Gaza Strip. He stated, "There can be no tolerance for Hamas, either as a governing entity or as a terrorist organization." Without dismantling Hamas and creating a Gaza free from terrorism, he warned, the plan will not solve the problem but will instead lay the foundation for the next war.

Trump:

I see that representatives of the Islamic Republic of Iran are demanding compensation for the damages they have suffered during the military confrontation over the past five months (which began because they will not have nuclear weapons), even though this issue has never been mentioned in any of our negotiations or meetings!

But it's an interesting idea, because now I am also demanding compensation from Iran for all the people they have killed and seriously injured with their roadside bombs and in the many conflicts in which they are notorious, and which were initially led by General Soleimani – including the families of those killed on the USS Cole, and thousands of others who have died in battles.

In addition, compensation must be paid to the families of the hundreds of thousands of innocent protesters that Iran has killed over the past 50 years, not to mention the 52,000 people who have been killed in the past five months.

I have instructed my representatives to raise this demand forcefully in all future negotiations, without exception.

As long as I am Prime Minister, no Palestinian state will be established—neither in Gaza nor in the West Bank. Neither a Fatahstan nor a Hamasstan.

Popular Bars and
Restaurants Are
Banning Smart Glasses

As smart glasses' popularity grows, so too does the list of places where you're not allowed to use them.
There are courts, of course, including every single one in New York State, parts of cruise ships, and during tests like the SATs-and as significant those bans are, the U.K. is taking things a step further.

Smart glasses are now being partially or wholly banned in popular venues across the U.K., including by the owners of some pretty popular pubs and restaurants, according to The Guardian. Among them is the pub chain Wetherspoons, which has about 800 locations across England and Ireland.

Here's what the founder of Wetherspoons, Tim Martin, told The Guardian about the decision:

"The general code that applies in our pubs, and most pubs, is that you can't film customers or employees without their permission. Meta glasses seem to breach this code, and common sense, by enabling surreptitious surveillance, so our instinct is to say turn off the cameras.
This is akin to our efforts to stop audible playing of videos in our pubs, which also invades people's space."

😁🇺🇸 Trump was disguised as food and secretly transported out of Turkey.

The Washington Post has learned details about the secret evacuation of Trump during the summit in Ankara on July 7-8. The U.S. leader was transported in a catering van from the old Air Force One to another military aircraft. A public flight on a Boeing 747 was used as a decoy for journalists and some staff.

The reason for this decision was the threat from Iran, which involved a possible attack on the president or his plane. The White House confirmed the need for enhanced security measures but did not disclose details of the operation.

Today is the 89th anniversary of the head of the NKVD Nikolai Yezhov signing NKVD Order No. 00485 which became the start of the Polish Operation of the NKVD

It was essentially an order to kill as many Poles in the Soviet Union as possible.

111,091 Poles were shot in the back of the head within a year while tens of thousands were sent to Gulags.

Arrests relied on superficial criteria. NKVD officers consulted local phone books) and similar lists to identify and detain people with Polish-sounding surnames (for example, those ending in “-ski” or “-wicz”).

In Leningrad, the NKVD reviewed local telephone books and arrested more than 7000 citizens with Polish-sounding names.

The vast majority of these “suspects” were shot within 10 days of their arrest.

Almost all those executed were men.

Their wives were typically dealt with under a related order (No. 00486 of August 15th 1937) and forcibly deported, often to Kazakhstan, for terms of roughly 5–10 years.

Children were frequently sent to orphanages or special institutions, where they were to be raised as Russians without a Polish identity, stripped of knowledge of their origins and language.

Family property was confiscated.

In total, around 150 000 Poles are believed to have been shot, perished in Gulags or starved to death in this Russian genocidal campaign over the course of 1937 and 1938

🇨🇾Cyprus rejects Greek offer for Leopard 1A5 tanks: Israeli Merkava tanks still under consideration.

Cyprus has rejected a Greek offer to supply 75-90 Leopard 1A5 tanks, after inspections revealed that the condition of the vehicles is not suitable, even as a temporary solution.
According to reports, the Cypriots are still looking for a replacement for their aging Russian T-80 tanks, as their operation and maintenance are becoming increasingly complex due to sanctions and the difficulty of obtaining spare parts for Russian-made systems.
The preferred option for Cyprus remains the purchase of Israeli Merkava tanks, either models III or IV. However, no agreement has yet been reached on a deal, partly due to Israel's need to maintain a sufficient stock of tanks for the Israel Defense Forces.
If the deal goes through, it could mark a significant shift for Cyprus, moving away from its old Russian armored vehicles towards a Western-Israeli system, while strengthening security ties between Nicosia and Jerusalem.

🇺🇸 The United States is upgrading the Javelin after reducing stockpiles due to the war in Ukraine.

Kratos Defense has received a contract from the U.S. Army to develop a new infrared guidance head for the Javelin anti-tank missile system. The new component is designed to replace the outdated electronic architecture and enable continued production of the missiles.

The upgrade is taking place after a significant reduction in U.S. stockpiles due to the transfer of Javelins to Ukraine. The U.S. is increasing production of the systems, but is focusing not only on quantity, but also on preserving the unique "fire-and-forget" capabilities of the system.

🇬🇧 British comedian John Cleese is once again facing criticism for his remarks on Islam. The Islamic news platform Pillars is now targeting his upcoming UK theater tour. The website labels Cleese a "prominent Islamophobe" and highlights that he will be performing in September in cities with large Muslim communities. Cleese responded with a striking warning. While he hopes people enjoy his shows, he added: "But please, no Salman Rushdie situations!"
