The CIA has an absolutely massive presence in Lebanon.

They are currently building a multi-billion dollar complex in Beirut, its capital city. The complex will feature its own art museum and hospital, among other incredibly expensive and wasteful things.

So when you read about Lebanese assets firing rockets toward Israel, please understand it is only the right hand attacking the left for show.

So as the "news" of the West launders rumors of the "regional conflict expanding", keep in mind it needs you to accept its war as double sided. It needs you to accept its pretense as justifiable or at least, to accept the situation as an organic thing.

Israel intends to justify a ground invasion into southern Lebanon very soon, this is quietly at the behest of the U.S. who, despite its public face, cannot win the economic trend long-term, so its options are limited.

In fact, back in 1987, the CIA's Directorate of Intelligence commissioned a study on Lebanon and its potential use as a center for global terrorism operations.
