Europe may soon face Food Shortages due to lack of seasonal Labour
🌽❌ Several agricultural ministers of EU countries are warning of food shortages due to a lack of workers in the imminent harvest.
🚧🚜 Due to the closed borders, the hundreds of thousands of seasonal workers from Eastern Europe & Northern Africa are not available to bring in the harvest.
🏛😰 The agricultural ministries of these countries are thus rapidly mounting programs to desperately try and fill the gaping hole left behind due to over-dependence on foreign labour.
🌐📉 Let that sink in: we're potentially facing even harder times as the result of yet another cheap labour, open border policy because domestic workers just became 'too expensive'.
💸🏖 Never mind the fact that we have millions of people across all these countries on costly welfare programs... some of them even natives.
