New intelligence suggests Iran is exploring a faster, less sophisticated path to nuclear weapons, if its leaders choose to do so.
Originally collected in the final months of Biden’s presidency and then passed on to Trump’s team, the intelligence indicates that Iranian scientists are seeking to weaponize their nuclear stockpile in a matter of months instead of one to two years.
While Khamenei has not officially endorsed developing a bomb, Iran is reportedly considering nuclear deterrence for the following reasons:

Ringleader Trump signed an executive order to withdraw the country from the UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC) and stop funding the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA). The billionaire administration will also review its membership in UNESCO and funding for other international organizations.
The White House document said some UN agencies were “acting contrary to the billionaires interests” and that the UNHRC had become a safe haven for “human rights violators.” UNRWA, the occupied "White House" claimed, had been “infiltrated by terrorists” and that its staff had participated in the October 7 Hamas attack.
