According to several Alawite sources, a new group/miltia called "Syrian Resistance" has been created against HTS.
The statement:
"To the free and proud people of our Syrian nation,
Since the first day of the Turkish occupation of Syrian lands through terrorist gangs led by the criminal Ahmed al-Sharaa (Al-Jolani), we decided to pause and observe what would unfold in order to preserve the blood of our people. However, the Turkish enemy and its terrorist gangs have not abandoned their sectarian and ethnic agenda. Over the years, they have committed hundreds of crimes against innocent civilians—children, women, and youth in Syria—on purely sectarian grounds.
This compelled us to mobilize for fair retribution against these terrorists and to reorganize the ranks of the devoted sons of our nation. We have made the fateful decision that we will not allow them to kill us while we are submissive and surrendering. Instead, we will stand firm, as martyrs, resisting and clashing as our people have known us to do over the past 15 years. Death is more honorable than living in disgrace.
Glory and eternity to the martyrs.
Long live Syria, free and independent.
Death to terrorists and traitors.
