URGENT – Russia: On the night of September 1, a record number of enemy UAVs were shot down - 158 units, the Ministry of Defense reported
46 drones were shot down in the Kursk region, 34 in the Bryansk region, 28 in the Voronezh region, and 14 in the Belgorod region.
Another 8 UAVs were shot down over the Ryazan region, 5 over Kaluga, 4 over Lipetsk, 2 over Tambov and Smolensk regions, and one each over the territories of Oryol, Tver and Ivanovo regions, the department reported.
2 drones were shot down over Moscow, 7 over the Moscow region. At the same time, as of 8 a.m., reports continue to come in from Sergei Sobyanin about the ongoing attempt by a UAV to attack the Moscow Oil Refinery in the Kapotnya district of Moscow.
