🚨BREAKING – Germany: Special police forces arrested a Bundeswehr soldier in the Hochtaunus district on the weekend. The investigators seized weapons, ammunition and explosives from him
The 21-year-old Bundeswehr soldier, the police arrested another man. A third turned himself in to the police on Sunday evening, as the Hanau public prosecutor and the Hessian State Criminal Police Office (HLKA) announced on Monday. The men from Glashütten (Hochtaunus) are being investigated, among other things, on suspicion of sedition, illicit possession of weapons and explosives and dangerous bodily harm.
It is a 63-year-old father and his two sons. The brother of the Bundeswehr soldier is therefore 20 years old.
The police seized handguns and long guns, ammunition, a hand grenade as well as explosives and data carriers. According to information from the dpa news agency, this mainly involves material that does not come from the armed forces. The hand grenade is a model from the former Yugoslavia.
