📌 WEBINAR ON LEADERSHIP

The ESPDP participants joined yesterday for the Phase #2 Expert Meeting with Rob Veersma.

International consultant discussed the topic of tactics in leading teams, as well as leadership, communication styles and authority. Over the course of the lecture our expert and participants covered a vast array of notions, including leadership challenges, situational leadership, different contexts of leadership and the role of leadership in energy sector. As a part of the webinar, young leaders were asked to fill in a special Situational Leadership Style Self-Assessment in the form of a questionnaire. This assessment assisted the participants in identifying their own leadership styles which were discussed during the meeting.

On the 25th of March, 2023, the ESPD Project participants joined the Expert Meeting with Mehdi Basati as a part of the ESPDP Phase#2.

A PhD and an outstanding researcher at the Peter the Great St.Petersburg Polytechnic University’s Energy Institute, Mehdi Basati walked young leaders through intricacies of the energy decentralisation and explained the basics of the energy sustainable supply. The participants were given opportunities to learn from the scientific expert and ask questions to further their understanding in the sphere of energy and sustainability.

On the 1st April March, 2023, international expert Mehdi Basati delivered the 2nd lecture on the aspects of energy decentralisation and the sustainable supply of energy as a part of ESPDP Phase #2.

💡At the webinar Mehdi Basati, the Peter the Great St.Petersburg Polytechnic University’s Energy Institute’s researcher, and ESPDP participants discussed a variety of important aspects, ranging from efficient strategies for commercial buildings to different types of supply generation. Under the guidance of Mehdi Basati the participants examined a simple diagram of a microgrid network, became acquainted with four types of efficient strategies which are utilised in commercial buildings as well as explored a basic example of a microgrid system. Members of ESPDP Project Teams were presented with opportunities to pose their questions to Mehdi Basati in order to enhance their expertise in the field of energy decentralisation and the sustainable energy supply.

📅Yesterday, on the 13th of April, our international expert, Dimitris Symeonidis, delivered a lecture on carbon removal techniques as a part of ESPDP Phase #2.

💡The expert in Hydrogen and Market analysis at VaasaETT elaborated on the modern efficient techniques utilised in order to tackle carbon emissions. Moreover, the ESPDP participants examined carbon capture and carbon storage, the notions bearing critical importance for the mitigation of the global warming effects.
