FABER (Fatigue Benchmark Repository) networking project was recently approved for funding by the COST Association. It will start from November 2024 for the total duration of 4 years. Its core idea is focused on developing tools and data sets, which can streamline research and validation of fatigue estimation criteria.
The project annotation is here (https://www.esis.site/pdf/FABER.pdf), more can be found on www.pragtic.com/faber.php or on the COST webpage https://www.cost.eu/actions/CA23109/, where the prospective members can already register.
The project is open to anyone. The conditions for Europeans are more favourable, but I believe that it is still worth considering even out of Europe. To reach its goals, we need as broad participation as only possible, so that the consensus on steps taken was general in the fatigue community.
