📜 On Tuesday, August 6, 2024,
The third session of the Free Discussion in English series, focused on the topic of "Personality," was held online. The session was hosted by Negar Shazdeh Ahmadi, BA student in ELT. The host began the session with a "Color Selection Game" to determine personality traits, demonstrating to the participants how personalities may differ among individuals. Following this, questions were posed in the "Personality Café" segment, allowing members to get to know their own personalities better through their responses. Another set of questions was prepared for participants to answer in groups, aimed at exploring the factors influencing personality, the impact of culture on personality development, the relationship between mental health and personality, and the trajectory of personality changes over time. The final activity of the session was a "Mystery-Solving Task". This activity, which added variety to the session's activities, was designed by the host to better illustrate the subtle personality differences among individuals. Similar to previous sessions, the aim was to create a friendly and welcoming environment through the use of creative and diverse activities, encouraging active participation and motivating participants to use the English language.

📜 در روز شانزدهم مردادماه 1403، سومین جلسه از سری جلسات گفت‌وگوی آزاد به زبان انگلیسی با موضوع «شخصیت» و میزبانی دانشجوی کارشناسی آموزش زبان انگلیسی، خانم نگار شازده‌احمدی، به صورت بر‌خط برگزار شد. در ابتدا، میزبان از شرکت‌کنندگان خواست تا یک رنگ دلخواه را انتخاب کنند. سپس، به هر رنگ یک ویژگی شخصیتی مرتبط نسبت داده شد.
در ادامه، سوالاتی در بخش «کافه شخصیت» مطرح شد تا اعضا با پاسخ به آن‌ها، با شخصیت خود بیشتر آشنا شوند. سپس با طرح سری دیگری از سوالات و پاسخ گروهی شرکت‌کنندگان، عوامل موثر بر شخصیت، تاثیر فرهنگ بر تکامل شخصیت، رابطه سلامت روان و شخصیت و سیر تغییرات شخصیت مورد بحث و بررسی قرار گرفت. آخرین فعالیت این جلسه‌ی گفت‌وگو، حل معما بود. این فعالیت که به تنوع فعالیت‌های جلسه افزود، طراحی شده بود تا تفاوت‌های شخصیتی، هرچند کوچک، بیش از پیش برای مخاطبان ملموس شود‌. در این جلسه نیز، همانند جلسات قبلی، سعی بر این بود تا با فعالیت‌های خلاقانه و متنوعی که در نظر گرفته‌ شد، محیطی دوستانه و صمیمی برای تشویق شرکت‌کنندگان به مشارکت فعال و ایجاد انگیزه برای استفاده از زبان انگلیسی مهیا شود.

📝 On Friday, August 9, 2024 (Mordad 19, 1403), a virtual meeting titled "The Second Gathering of the Professors and Members of the English Students' Association: Reviewing the Association's Activities Over the Past Month and Planning for Future Activities" was organized by the English Students' Association of the University of Kashan.
The session began with Dr. Zohreh Gharaei, the ESA advisor, who reviewed the activities that had been completed during the previous month to enhance the quality of upcoming plans and discussed the strengths and weaknesses of previous programs.
Following this, the core and honorary members of the association presented their ideas about the activities for the upcoming month.
Finally, after summarizing the comments and ideas, a discussion was held on the implementation process for future plans.
These meetings, which take place monthly with the presence of professors, main, and honorary members of the association, aim to improve the execution process and functions of the association.

📝 در تاریخ ۱۹ مرداد ماه ۱۴۰۳، میزگرد صمیمانه‌ای تحت عنوان «دومین نشست هم‌اندیشی اساتید و اعضای انجمن علمی انگلیسی: بررسی کارکرد انجمن طی ماه گذشته و برنامه‌ریزی برای فعالیت‌های آتی» به همت انجمن علمی انگلیسی دانشگاه کاشان در بستر مجازی برگزار شد.
در ابتدا، خانم دکتر زهره قرائی، استاد مشاور انجمن، با ذکر مقدمه‌ای به بررسی برنامه‌های ماه گذشته در جهت ارتقاء برنامه‌های پیش‌ رو پرداختند و نکاتی پیرامون نقاط قوت و ضعف برنامه‌های گذشته ذکر کردند.
در ادامه، اعضای اصلی و افتخاری انجمن نیز نظرات و ایده‌های خود را درباره‌ی فعالیت‌های پیش رو ارائه دادند.
در پایان، پس از جمع بندی نظرات و ایده‌ها، بر روند اجرایی برنامه‌های پیش رو هم‌اندیشی صورت گرفت.
در این جلسات که به صورت ماهانه با حضور استادان، اعضای اصلی و افتخاری انجمن برگزار می‌شود، سعی بر بهبود روند اجرایی و کارکرد‌های انجمن خواهد بود.

The fourth session of the Free Discussion in English series, focused on the topic of "Generation Gap," was held online. The session was hosted by Negar Shazdeh Ahmadi, BA student in ELT. The host began the session with talking about different generations and traits of each generation. Following this, questions were posed to be discussed, allowing members to get to understand how the world has changed in generations, technology effects on those changes, and characteristics of the next generation. The session was continued by role-playing two scenarios in which a grandmother and her granddaughter expressed their ideas. This activity, which added variety to the session, was designed by the host to better illustrate the subtle differences between generations. Finally, the session was ended by participants' elaboration on their agreement or disagreement on ideas regarding "the consequences of generation gap". Similar to previous sessions, the aim was to create a friendly and welcoming environment through the use of creative and diverse activities, encouraging active participation and motivating participants to use the English language.

در روز بیست ‌و یکم مردادماه 1403، چهارمین جلسه از سری جلسات گفت‌وگوی آزاد به زبان انگلیسی با موضوع «تفاوت نسل‌ها» و میزبانی دانشجوی کارشناسی آموزش زبان انگلیسی، خانم نگار شازده‌احمدی، به صورت بر‌خط برگزار شد. در ابتدا، توضیحاتی از سمت میزبان درباره‌ی نسل‌های مختلف و تفاوتشان ارائه شد. در ادامه، سوالاتی مطرح شد تا اعضا درباره‌ی چگونگی و چرایی تغییر دنیای اطراف طی‌نسل‌ها، تاثیر تکنولوژی بر تفاوت نسل‌ها و ویژگی‌های نسل‌ آینده، به گفت‌وگو بپردازند. فعالیت بعدی این جلسه‌ی گفت‌وگو، ایفای نقش مادربزرگ و نوه‌ی او بود. این فعالیت که به تنوع فعالیت‌های جلسه افزود، طراحی شده بود تا تفاوت‌های دو نسل بیش از پیش برای مخاطبان ملموس شود‌. در پایان جلسه، شرکت‌کنندگان نظرات خود را درباره‌ی پیامدهای اختلاف نسل‌ها با یکدیگر به اشتراک گذاشتند. در این جلسه نیز، همانند جلسات قبلی، سعی بر این بود تا با فعالیت‌های خلاقانه و متنوعی که در نظر گرفته‌ شد محیطی دوستانه و صمیمی برای تشویق شرکت‌کنندگان به مشارکت فعال و ایجاد انگیزه برای استفاده از زبان انگلیسی مهیا شود.

📝 On Monday, August 19, 2024
(Mordad 29, 1403), a virtual interview titled "Success in the MA Entrance Exam: A Conversation with Ms. Nazanin Asadi, Rank 2 in the 2024 MA Entrance Exam for English Translation" was organized by the English Students' Association of the University of Kashan.
Initially, Ms. Asadi provided comprehensive information about the exam questions and timing, sharing her experiences in the study process and preparation for the entrance exam. She also emphasized the importance of comprehensive and purposeful planning.
Following this, Ms. Asadi introduced reference books as well as reliable and up-to-date educational resources, offering detailed and useful information about each one. She also discussed tips regarding review methods, the importance of summarization, the order of answering questions, maintaining motivation, and time management on exam day.
Finally, this discussion was followed by questions and answers between the attendees and Ms. Asadi, during which she provided complete and helpful answers to each question based on her experiences.
She stated that success is the result of continuous and purposeful effort, wishing success to all candidates and emphasizing the importance of self-confidence and persistence in learning.

📝 در تاریخ ۲۹ مرداد ماه ۱۴۰۳، مصاحبه‌‌ای تحت عنوان «موفقیت در کنکور کارشناسی ارشد: گفت‌و‌گو با خانم نازنین اسدی، رتبه ۲ کنکور کارشناسی ارشد مترجمی زبان انگلیسی ۱۴۰۳» به همت انجمن علمی انگلیسی دانشگاه کاشان در بستر مجازی برگزار شد.
در ابتدا، خانم اسدی اطلاعاتی جامع در مورد سوالات و زمان‌بندی آزمون ذکر کردند و همچنین تجربیات خود را در فرایند مطالعه و آمادگی برای کنکور به اشتراک گذاشتند و به اهمیت برنامه‌ریزی جامع و هدفمند و پایبندی به‌ آن اشاره کردند.
در ادامه، خانم اسدی به معرفی کتاب‌های مرجع و همچنین منابع کمک آموزشی معتبر و به‌روز پرداختند و اطلاعات جامع و مفیدی در مورد هرکدام بیان کردند. ایشان همچنین نکاتی در مورد روش‌های مرور و اهمیت خلاصه‌نویسی، ترتیب پاسخگویی به سوالات، مهارت حفظ انگیزه و مدیریت زمان در روز کنکور بیان کردند.
در پایان، پس از جمع بندی مطالب ذکر شده، پرسش و پاسخی بین حضار و خانم اسدی صورت گرفت و ایشان با توجه به تجربیات خود پاسخی کامل و مفید برای هر سوال ارائه کردند.
ایشان، با بیان اینکه موفقیت نتیجه‌ی تلاش مستمر و هدفمند است، برای همه‌ی داوطلبان آرزوی موفقیت کردند و بر اهمیت اعتماد به نفس و استمرار در یادگیری تأکید نمودند.
