🏆 FanPetition: University-Wide and National Competitions

🎗An exciting competition to showcase students' skills and creativity in creating engaging subtitles while fostering teamwork

🟠 The first Fansubbing Competition was organized in Fall 2023 by the English Students' Association in co-operation with the English Department at the University of Kashan. To equip students with one of the necessary skills, a workshop titled "Principles of Subtitling Using Subtitle Edit Software" was conducted. The competition culminated in an award ceremony during the Research Week at the Faculty of Literature and Foreign Languages, where two outstanding works were recognized and appreciated.

🟢 Due to the positive response from students, the second stage of the competition was planned at the national level, inviting students from universities across the country to participate. This was made possible through the collaboration with the English Department of the University of Kashan, the Union of Foreign Languages and Linguistics, and a group of top English students' associations in Spring 2024. After careful review and judging of the submitted works, the winners were announced and will be appreciated and awarded in the near future.

✴️ Congratulations to the competition winners, and many thanks to all the participants from various universities in Iran. We would also like to extend our sincere gratitude to all the key contributors to this competition, including the esteemed officials of the Vice-Chancellor for Cultural Affairs of the University of Kashan, the English Department, ESA Advisor, the judges, members of the planning council, professors and students of the English Department, Iran's Union of Foreign Languages and Linguistics, and the collaborating students' associations. 🙏🌹

🏆 مسـابقه‌ی فن‌سـابینــگ در دو سطح
                           دانشـــگاهی (پاییز ۱۴۰۲) و
                                       مـــلی (بهار ۱۴۰۳)

🎗 مسابقه‌ای علمی برای نمایش مهارت و خلاقیت دانشجویان در ایجاد زیرنویس‌های جدید و سرگرم‌کننده، و تقویت روحیه‌ی همکاری و کار تیمی

🟠 پاییز سال ۱۴۰۲، مسابقه‌ی فن‌سابینگ برای اولین بار با همکاری مشترک انجمن علمی انگلیسی و گروه انگلیسی دانشگاه کاشان برگزار شد. به منظور آماده‌سازی دانشجویان و تقویت یکی از مهارت‌های علمی مرتبط، کارگاه آموزشی "اصول زیرنویس‌گذاری با استفاده از نرم‌افزار Subtitle Edit" در دانشگاه تشکیل شد.
✴️ در ادامه، مراسم داوری و اهدای جوایز این مسابقه، با معرفی و تقدیر دو اثر برگزیـده در هفته‌ی پژوهش و فناوری، در تالار حافظ دانشکده‌ی ادبیات و زبان‌های خارجی، انجام شد.

🟢 با توجه به استقبال دانشجویان، مرحله‌ی دوم مسابقه در سطح ملی برای دانشجویان دانشگاه‌های سراسر ایران، با همکاری گروه انگلیسی دانشگاه کاشان، اتحادیه‌ی زبان‌های خارجی و زبانشناسی کشور، و جمعی از انجمن‌های علمی انگلیسی برتر کشور در اردیبهشت‌ماه سال جاری برنامه‌ریزی شد.
❇️ با بررسی دقیق و داوری آثار ارسال‌شده، برگزیـدگان این دوره از مسابقه نیز، معرفی شدند؛ و در آینده‌‌ی نزدیک تقدیر خواهند شد.
