🟢#SPSS_WORKSHOP

📜On the 1st, 8th, and 15th of Aban 1402, an educational-interactive workshop series on the SPSS 26 was held in the computer site of the Faculty of Humanities by Ms. Zohreh PayandehDari Nejad, the instructor at the University of Kashan. The series was intended to enable students to use this software. During the workshops, the participants were actively involved and practiced the elements step by step and the lecturer gave them feedback. The topics taught in these three consecutive weeks were as follows:
1⃣First Session:
- Introducing SPSS software
- Identifying variables of the study
- Introducing the most commonly used tests in humanities research
- Coding and entering data
- Grouping data for statistical analysis
2⃣Second Session:
- Reviewing coding and entering data into SPSS
- Introducing significance level
- Performing and interpreting descriptive statistics tests
- Performing and interpreting the following inferential statistics tests:
✓ Kolmogorov-Smirnov
✓ Pearson and Spearman correlation
✓ Linear and multiple regression
3⃣Third Session:
- Reviewing how to run and interpret Kolmogorov-Smirnov, correlation, and regression tests
- Performing and interpreting comparison tests (i.e., T-test, ANOVA, and Chi-squared test)
- Friedman test

📝در تاریخ یکم، هشتم، و پانزدهم آبان‌ماه ۱۴۰۲ کارگاه آموزشی- تعاملی نرم‌افزار SPSS 26 با هدف توانمندسازی دانشجویان در استفاده از این نرم‌افزار با حضور خانم زهره پاینده‌داری‌نژاد، مدرس مدعو دانشکده ادبیات و زبان‌های خارجی دانشگاه کاشان، در سایت دانشکده علوم انسانی برگزار شد. همزمان با تدریس، مشارکت کنندگان به تمرین آیتم‌ها پرداختند و بازخوردهای لازم توسط مدرس ارائه شد. رئوس مطالبی که در این سه هفته‌ی متوالی تدریس شد عبارتند از:
1⃣جلسه‌ی اول:
- معرفی نرم‌افزار SPSS
- شناسایی متغیرهای تحقیق
- معرفی آزمون‌های پرکاربرد در تحقیقات علوم انسانی
- نحوه‌ی کدگذاری و ورود داده‌ها در نرم‌افزار
- نحوه‌ی گروه‌بندی داده‌ها به منظور تحلیل آماری
2⃣جلسه‌ی دوم:
- مرور کدگذاری و ورود داده‌ها در نرم‌افزار
- معرفی سطح معناداری
- اجرا و تفسیر آزمون‌های آمار توصیفی
- اجرا و تفسیر آزمون‌های آمار استنباطی:
✓ کولوگروف-اسمیرنوف
✓ همبستگی پیرسون و اسپیرمن
✓ رگرسیون خطی و چندگانه
3⃣جلسه‌ی سوم:
- مرور اجرا و تفسیر آزمون‌های کولموگروف-اسمیرنوف، همبستگی، و رگرسیون
- اجرا و تفسیر آزمون‌های مقایسه‌ای (T-test, ANOVA, Chi-squared test)
- آزمون فریدمن

📜 A "Welcome Gathering" for our dear newcomers was held in the Faculty of Literature and Foreign Languages, Hafez Hall.
Dr. Rasoulnia, the Dean of the Faculty, and Dr. Gharaei, the Head of the English Department, welcomed the students and reviewed some educational regulations. Additionally, a stand-up comedy was performed by Ramin Ghasemieh. Finally, the coordinator of the ESA and the editor-in-chief of Hashtag provided students with some information regarding the association and the magazine.

💌 We are much obliged to all dear professors and students of the English Department who accompanied us in this gathering.

📝 در تاریخ بیست و یکم آبان‌ماه،
مراسم معارفه‌ی نودانشجویان ورودی ۱۴۰۲، با حضور ایشان و همراهی استادان و دانشجویان عزیز گروه انگلیسی، در تالار حافظ دانشکده ادبیات و زبان‌های خارجی برگزار شد.
سخنرانی و خوش‌آمدگویی آقای دکتر رسول‌نیا، ریاست محترم دانشکده، و خانم دکتر قرائی، مدیر گروه محترم، استندآپ کمدی آقای قاسمیه، معرفی انجمن علمی گروه و مجله‌ی هشتگ با حضور دبیر انجمن و سردبیر مجله از برنامه‌های این گردهمایی بودند.
