The discussion centered on the crucial role of leadership in shaping an inclusive organizational culture that fosters a conducive and gender-neutral workplace. Participants evaluated the Society’s current status on the matter, identified key gaps, and proposed targeted activities to address them. The session concluded with the development of a concrete action plan to drive meaningful change.

A delegation from the Norwegian Red Cross, led by its President Siri Hatlen, paid a courtesy visit to the Ethiopian Red Cross Society (ERCS). They were warmly welcomed by ERCS President Abera Tola and Acting Secretary General Abera Lulessa, along with senior management members, who provided an extensive briefing on the humanitarian situation in Ethiopia and ERCS's response efforts.
ERCS higher officials expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Norwegian Red Cross for its long-standing partnership and collaboration in addressing critical humanitarian challenges. The Norwegian delegation acknowledged the vital role of this collaboration and emphasized that Ethiopia remains a top priority in their humanitarian support agenda.
