የኢትዮጵያ ቀይ መስቀል ማኅበር ከእንግሊዝ መንግስት የውጪ የጋራ ብልጽግናና ልማት ቢሮ ጋር በመተባበር “ኢትዮጵያ ከቀውስ ወደ አይበገሬነት” በተሰኘ ፕሮጀክቱ በጠምባሮ ልዩ ወረዳ አራት ቀበሌዎች ማለትም በባዳ፣ ቦሄ፣ ባጭራ እና ዋሮ ቀበሌዎች ያስገነባውን የገጠር ንፁህ መጠጥ ውሃ አቅርቦት ፕሮጀክት አስመረቀ፡፡

የኢትዮጵያ ቀይ መስቀል ማኅበር ከአውሮፓ ህብረት የሲቪል ጥበቃ እና የሰብአዊ እርዳታ ኦፕሬሽን (DG ECHO ) ባገኘው የገንዘብ ድጋፍ ከኔዘርላንድስ እና ከዴንማርክ ቀይ መስቀል ጋር በመተባበር የሚተገበረው ፕሮጀክት አካል የሆነና ትኩረቱን የጥንቃቄ ቅድመ ትግበራ( Anticipatory Action) ማዕቀፍን ተግባራዊ ለማድረግ በሚያስችል መደበኛ የአሰራር መመሪያ (SOP) ዝግጅት ላይ ያተኮረ ዐውደ ጥናት ከየካቲት 9-10 ቀን 2018 ዓ.ም. አካሂዷል ፡፡

As part of a project implemented with the Netherlands Red Cross and the Danish Red Cross, and funded by DG ECHO, ERCS convened a workshop from 16–17 February 2026 bringing together 24 participants from national and regional levels, including representatives from FEWSNET, WMO, EDRMC, DRMB in Somali and Afar, OCHA, EPHI, ERCS, and NLRC.
