@ryioreaper – The Perks of Being a Wallflower (2012)
I chose this movie mainly because it’s about self-discovery, and I believe that in each phase of our lives, we will question our identity at some point. And I know you, kiddo. I don’t know if you’ve watched this movie yet or not, but you should give it a go.
This one’s probably almost everyone’s best coming-of-age movie. Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, 1991. High school freshman Charlie is a wallflower, always watching life from the sidelines, until two senior students, Sam and her stepbrother Patrick, become his mentors, helping him discover the joys of friendship, music, and love.

@Maalinin – The Social Network (2010)
Based on your account, your vibe is as someone who hustles hard.
Now, this movie. In 2003, Harvard undergrad and computer programmer Mark Zuckerberg begins work on a new concept that eventually turns into the global social network known as Facebook. Six years later, Mark is one of the youngest billionaires ever, but his unprecedented success leads to both personal and legal complications when he ends up on the receiving end of two lawsuits, one involving his former friend.

Honestly, it’s just the vibe you give off. The main character kinda carries your energy somehow, not in a bad way. More like… that badass, a little bratty kind of way. I’m definitely emphasising the bratty part.
This movie is about a young sex worker from Brooklyn gets her chance at a Cinderella story when she meets and impulsively marries the son of an oligarch. Once the news reaches Russia, her fairytale is threatened as his parents set out to get the marriage annulled.

@LiShegn — Minari (2020)
I take you as someone who values your family a lot.
A Korean American family moves to a farm in Arkansas, chasing their version of the American dream. As they navigate the unfamiliar and rugged life in the Ozarks, they come to discover the quiet strength of family, and what it truly means to call a place home.

Since I couldn’t really see much from your account, I ended up going through the gift notes your friends left you. It got me thinking of films that are best watched alone, the kind that will hit you enough to make you have a good cry.
In the final months of World War II, 14-year-old Seita and his younger sister Setsuko are orphaned after their mother is killed in an air raid in Kobe, Japan. Following a falling out with their aunt, they leave her home and take refuge in an abandoned bomb shelter. With no surviving relatives to rely on and their emergency rations quickly running out, the two siblings are left to struggle for survival on their own.

@frontische – The Cranes Are Flying (1957)
I think the vibe suits you because you carry this quiet sense of longing and depth. Something meaningful that’s always there, just a little out of reach.
Veronika and Boris come together in Moscow shortly before World War II. Walking along the river, they watch cranes fly overhead, and promise to rendezvous before Boris leaves to fight. Boris misses the meeting and is off to the front lines, while Veronika waits patiently, sending letters faithfully. After her house is bombed, Veronika moves in with Boris' family, into the company of a cousin with his own intentions.

That’s all. Since I’m not exactly great at giving long explanations on why I chose that movie for you, I’ll just drop the synopsis of the film here, in case any of you might feel like checking it out. Thank you for playing with me, pals! Been a fun one.
