HORATIO

Exit Ghost
We do it wrong, being so majestical,
To offer it the show of violence;
For it is, as the air, invulnerable,
And our vain blows malicious mockery.
BERNARDO
It was about to speak, when the cock crew.
HORATIO
And then it started like a guilty thing
Upon a fearful summons. I have heard,
The cock, that is the trumpet to the morn,
Doth with his lofty and shrill-sounding throat
Awake the god of day; and, at his warning,
Whether in sea or fire, in earth or air,
The extravagant and erring spirit hies
To his confine: and of the truth herein

MARCELLUS
It faded on the crowing of the cock.

HORATIO

MARCELLUS
Let's do't, I pray; and I this morning know
Where we shall find him most conveniently.

مرسيلوس : هل أطعنه برمحي
هوراشيو: افعل ، إذا ابي أن يقف
برناردو : إنه ها هنا هوراشيو ها هنا .
يخرج الشبح
مرسيلوس : انصرف . لقد أسأنا إليه بأن أظهرنا له العنف وهو يبدو في مثل هذا الجلال إنه كالهواء لطفا فلا نستطيع امساكه وما ضرباتنا إلا عبث يستحق السخرية برناردو : كان يهم بالكلام عندما صاح الديك .
هوراشيو : ثم مضى سريعا كمن أتي ذنبا . تلبية لنداء رهيب وقد سمعت أن الديك للصباح بمثابة البوق فهو الذي يوقظ إله النهار بحنجرته ذات الصوت العالي المديد فلا تكاد الأرواح تسمع صوت هذا النذير حتى تعود مسرعة إلى مستقرها سواء أكان مسراها في البحار أم في النار ام كانت تجول في الأرض أم في الجو ولا شك أن فيما رأيناه الساعة شاهد بصدق هذا القول
مرسيلوس : لقد تلاشى عندما صاح الديك ويزعمون أنه عندما يجيء الأوان الإحياء ذكرى مولد سيدنا المسيح لا ينقطع الديك عن الغناء طول الليل ومن أجل ذلك لاتبرح الأرواح مستقرها ويكون الليل كله أمناً و كواكبه لا تتصادم والعفاريت لا تؤذي أحدا والساحرات يبطل سحرهن لأن الزمان كله يمن وبركة .
هوراشيو : سمعت هذا أيضا وأصدقه بعض التصديق لكن انظر الى مطلع الفجر مرتديا كساءه الأحمر وهو يطل من فوق الندى المتساقط على ذلك الكثيب الشرقي لقد آن لنا أن ننهي رقابتنا ومن راي أن ننقل إلى هملت الشاب ما شهدناه الليلة فلعمري إن هذا الشيح الأبكم أمامنا . سيتحدث إليه هل توافقان على أن نطلعه على هذا الأمر لما نكنه له من الحب ولما يمليه علينا الواجب
مرسيلوس : أجل لعمري / وإني لأعلم المكان الملائم الذي نستطيع أن نلقاه فيه اليوم .
